Hosea 14
1 હે ઇસ્રાએલના લોકો, તમારા યહોવા દેવ પાસે પાછા આવો, તમારા દુષ્કૃત્યોને લીધે તમે ઠોકર ખાઇને પછડાયા છો.
2 તમારી વિનંતી રજૂ કરો. યહોવા પાસે આવો અને કહો:“હે યહોવા, અમારાં પાપો દૂર કરીને અમારામાંનું સારું હોય, તેનો સ્વીકાર કરો. અમે તમને સ્તુતિઓ અપીર્શું.
3 આશ્શૂર અમને બચાવી શકશે નહિ; હવે અમે કદી યુદ્ધના ઘોડાને ભરોસે રહીશું નહિ, અને હવે અમે કદી હાથે ઘડેલી મૂર્તિને અમારો દેવ કહીશું નહિ’ તમે જ અનાથના નાથ છો.
1 O Israel, return unto the Lord thy God; for thou hast fallen by thine iniquity.
2 Take with you words, and turn to the Lord: say unto him, Take away all iniquity, and receive us graciously: so will we render the calves of our lips.
3 Asshur shall not save us; we will not ride upon horses: neither will we say any more to the work of our hands, Ye are our gods: for in thee the fatherless findeth mercy.
