અમે ઈસ્રાએલના દરેક કુળસમૂહોમાંથી દર સો માંણસો લઈશું. દર હજાર માંણસોએ સો માંણસો લઈશું. અને દર દસહજાર માંણસોએ એક હજાર માંણસો લઈશું. તેઓ સૈન્યને માંટે ખોરાક પૂરો પાડશે. બાકીના બિન્યામીનના પ્રદેશમાં આવેલા ગિબયાહ સ્થળે જ્યાં તેઓએ ઈસ્રાએલમાં ખૂબજ ભયંકર કૃત્ય કર્યુ હતું તેની સજા કરવા જશે.”

પણ તેણે કહ્યું, “ના, ભાઈ, મને નીચું જોવડાવશો નહિ આવું શરમજનક કરશો નહિ. ઇસ્રાએલમાં આ જાતની ભયંકર બાબત કદી થઇ નથી.
