એસ્તેર 10:1
અહાશ્વેરોશ રાજાએ રાજ્યના સર્વ પ્રદેશો પર તથા સમુદ્રના ટાપુઓ ઉપર કર નાખ્યા.

And the king	וַיָּשֶׂם֩	wayyāśem	va-ya-SEM
Ahasuerus	הַמֶּ֨לֶךְ	hammelek	ha-MEH-lek
laid	אֲחַשְׁרֵ֧וֹשׁ׀	ʾăḥašrēwōš	uh-hahsh-RAY-ohsh
a tribute	מַ֛ס	mas	mahs
upon	עַל	ʿal	al
land, the	הָאָ֖רֶץ	hāʾāreṣ	ha-AH-rets
and upon the isles	וְאִיֵּ֥י	wĕʾiyyê	veh-ee-YAY
of the sea.	הַיָּֽם׃	hayyām	ha-YAHM
