થોડા સમય બાદ આમ્મોનીઓનો રાજા નાહાશ મૃત્યુ પામ્યો, અને તેના પછી તેની જગ્યાએ તેનો પુત્ર હાનૂન રાજ કરવા લાગ્યો.

And it came to pass	וַֽיְהִי֙	wayhiy	va-HEE
this, after	אַֽחֲרֵי	ʾaḥărê	AH-huh-ray
	כֵ֔ן	kēn	hane
that the king	וַיָּ֕מָת	wayyāmot	va-YA-mote
children the of	מֶ֖לֶךְ	melek	MEH-lek
of Ammon	בְּנֵ֣י	bĕnê	beh-NAY
died,	עַמּ֑וֹן	ʿammôn	AH-mone
and Hanun	וַיִּמְלֹ֛ךְ	wayyimlōk	va-yeem-LOKE
son his	חָנ֥וּן	ḥānûn	ha-NOON
reigned	בְּנ֖וֹ	bĕnô	beh-NOH
in his stead.	תַּחְתָּֽיו׃	taḥtāyw	tahk-TAIV
