દાઉદને તીવ્ર ઈરછા થઇ અને તેણે પુછયું, “મને, બેથલેહેમના દરવાજા બાજુ આવેલા કૂંવાનુઁ પાણી પીવાની ઇચ્છા થઇ છે.”

And David	וַיִּתְאָ֥ו	wayyitʾāw	va-yeet-AV
longed,	דָּוִ֖יד	dāwîd	da-VEED
and said,	וַיֹּאמַ֑ר	wayyōʾmar	va-yoh-MAHR
that Oh	מִ֚י	mî	mee
one would give me drink	יַשְׁקֵ֣נִי	yašqēnî	yahsh-KAY-nee
water the of	מַ֔יִם	mayim	MA-yeem
of the well	מִבּ֥וֹר	mibbôr	MEE-bore
Bethlehem, of	בֵּֽית	bêt	bate
that	לֶ֖חֶם	leḥem	LEH-hem
is at the gate!	אֲשֶׁ֥ר	ʾăšer	uh-SHER
	בַּשָּֽׁעַר׃	baššāʿar	ba-SHA-ar
