Genesis 10 - DBY (Gujarati)

1 And these are the generations of the sons of Noah: Shem, Ham, and Japheth; and to them were sons born after the flood.નૂહના પુત્રો શેમ, હામ અને યાફેથ હતા. જળપ્રલય પછી એ ત્રણે ઘણા પુત્રોના પિતા થયા. અહીં ત્રણેય ના પુત્રોની યાદી આપવામાં આવી છે.

2 The sons of Japheth: Gomer, and Magog, and Madai, and Javan, and Tubal, and Meshech, and Tiras.યાફેથના પુત્રો હતા: ગોમેર, માંગોગ, માંદાય, યાવાન, તુબાલ, મેશેખ અને તીરાસ.

3 And the sons of Gomer: Ashkenaz, and Riphath, and Togarmah.ગોમેરના પુત્રો હતા: આસ્કનાજ, રીફાથ અને તોગાર્માંહ.

4 And the sons of Javan: Elishah, and Tarshish, Kittim, and Dodanim.યાવાનના પુત્રો હતા: એલિશા, તાશીર્શ, કિત્તીમ, અને દોદાનીમ.

5 From these came the distribution of the isles of the nations, according to their lands, every one after his tongue, after their families, in their nations.ભૂમધ્ય-સમુદ્રની ચારે બાજુ અને તેના કાંઠા પ્રદેશમાં અને ટાપુઓમાં રહેનારા લોકો યાફેથના વંશજો જ હતા. પ્રત્યેક પુત્રને પોતાની ભૂમિ હતી. બધા પરિવારોનો વિકાસ થયો અને જુદા રાષ્ટો બની ગયાં. પ્રત્યેક રાષ્ટને પોતાની ભાષા હતી.

6 And the sons of Ham: Cush, and Mizraim, and Phut, and Canaan.હામના પુત્રો હતા: કૂશ, મિસરાઈમ, પૂટ અને કનાન.

7 And the sons of Cush: Seba, and Havilah, and Sabtah, and Raamah, and Sabtecha. And the sons of Raamah: Sheba and Dedan.કૂશના પુત્રો હતા: સબા, હવીલાહ, સાબ્તાહ, રાઅમાંહ અને સાબ્તેકા.રાઅમાંહના પુત્રો હતા: શબા અને દદાન.

8 And Cush begot Nimrod: he began to be mighty on the earth.કૂશને નિમ્રોદ નામે એક પુત્ર હતો. નિમ્રોદ પૃથ્વી પર પહેલો મહાન યોદ્વો હતો.

9 He was a mighty hunter before Jehovah; therefore it is said, As Nimrod, the mighty hunter before Jehovah!તે યહોવાની કૃપાથી એક મોટો શિકારી પણ હતો. અને તેથી જ લોકો કહે છે, “દેવ તમને નિમ્રોદ જેવા મોટા શિકારી બનાવો.”

10 And the beginning of his kingdom was Babel, and Erech, and Accad, and Calneh, in the land of Shinar.શિનઆરના દેશમાં આવેલા બાબિલ, એરેખ, આક્કાદ અને કાલ્નેહમાં નિમ્રોદના રાજયની શરૂઆત થઈ.

11 From that land went out Asshur, and built Nineveh, and Rehoboth-Ir, and Calah,નિમ્રોદ આશ્શૂરમાં પણ ગયો. ત્યાં તેણે નિનવેહ, રેહોબોથઈર, કાલાહ અને

12 and Resen, between Nineveh and Calah: this is the great city.રેસેન નગરો વસાવ્યાં. રેસેન એ નિનવેહ અને મહાનગરી કાલાહ વચ્ચે આવેલું છે.

13 -- And Mizraim begot the Ludim, and the Anamim, and the Lehabim, and the Naphtuhim,મિસરાઇમાંથી લૂદીમ, અનામીમ, લહાબીમ, નાફતુહીમ,

14 and the Pathrusim, and the Casluhim, out of whom came the Philistines, and the Caphtorim.પાથરૂસીમ, કાસ્લુહીમ અને કાફતોરીમ ઊતરી આવેલા છે અને કાફતોરીમમાંથી પલિસ્તીઓ ઊતરી આવેલા છે.

15 -- And Canaan begot Sidon, his firstborn, and Heth,કનાનને બે પુત્ર થયા: સૌથી મોટો સિદોન અને બીજો હેથ, તેઓ એ નામે ઓળખાતી પ્રજાઓના પૂર્વજો હતા.

16 and the Jebusite, and the Amorite, and the Girgashite,કનાનના બીજા વંશજો: યબૂસીઓ, અમોરીઓ, ગિર્ગાશીઓ,

17 and the Hivite, and the Arkite, and the Sinite,હિવ્વીઓ, આરકીઓ, સીનીઓ,

18 and the Arvadite, and the Zemarite, and the Hamathite. And afterwards the families of the Canaanites spread themselves abroad.આરવાદીઓ, સમાંરીઓ અને હમાંથીઓ. પછી કનાનીઓની જુદીજુદી જાતિઓ ફેલાવા લાગી.

19 And the border of the Canaanite was from Sidon, as one goes to Gerar, up to Gazah; as one goes to Sodom, and Gomorrah, and Admah, and Zeboim, up to Lesha.કનાનીઓની ભૂમિ ઉત્તરમાં સિદોનથી દક્ષિણમાં ગેરાર,પશ્ચિમમાં ગાઝાથી પૂર્વમાં સદોમ અને ગમોરાહ અને આદમાંહ અને સબોઇમથી લાશા સુધી વિસ્તરેલી હતી.

20 These are the sons of Ham, after their families, after their tongues, in their lands, in their nations.આ બધા હતા હામના વંશજો. આ બધા પરિવારોની પોતપોતાની ભાષાઓ અને પોતપોતાના પ્રદેશો હતા. તે બધા જુદા જુદા રાષ્ટો થઈ ગયા.

21 And to Shem -- to him also were [sons] born; he is the father of all the sons of Eber, the brother of Japheth the elder.યાફેથનો મોટો ભાઈ શેમ હતો. શેમનો એક વંશજ હેબેર હિબ્રૂ લોકોનો પિતા હતો.

22 The sons of Shem: Elam, and Asshur, and Arphaxad, and Lud, and Aram.શેમના પુત્રો હતા: એલામ, આશુર, આર્પાકશાદ, લૂદ અને અરામ.

23 And the sons of Aram: Uz, and Hul, and Gether, and Mash.અરામના પુત્રો હતા: ઉસ, હૂલ, ગેથેર અને માંશ.

24 -- And Arphaxad begot Shelah; and Shelah begot Eber.આર્પાકશાદને ત્યાં શેલાહ જન્મ્યો અને શેલાહને ત્યાં હેબેર.

25 And to Eber were born two sons: the name of the one was Peleg, for in his days was the earth divided; and his brother's name was Joktan.હેબેરને બે પુત્રો હતા, એકનું નામ પેલેગ હતું, કારણ એના સમયમાં પૃથ્વીના લોકોમાં ભાગલા પડયા. એના ભાઈનું નામ યોકટાન હતું.

26 And Joktan begot Almodad, and Sheleph, and Hazarmaveth, and Jerah,યોકટાનના દીકરાઓ: આલ્મોદાદ, શેલેફ, હસાર્માંવેથ, યેરાહ હતા.

27 and Hadoram, and Uzal, and Diklah,હદોરામ, ઉઝાલ, દિકલાહ.

28 and Obal, and Abimael, and Sheba,ઓબાલ, અબીમાંએલ, શબા,

29 and Ophir, and Havilah, and Jobab: all these were sons of Joktan.ઓફીર, હવીલાહ, અને યોબાબ, એ નામે ઓળખાતી પ્રજાઓના પૂર્વજો હતા.

30 And their dwelling was from Mesha, as one goes to Sephar, the eastern mountain.તેમનો પ્રદેશ મેશાથી પૂર્વના પહાડી પ્રદેશમાં આવેલા સફાર સુધી વિસ્તરેલો હતો.

31 These are the sons of Shem, after their families, after their tongues, in their lands, after their nations.આ થયા શેમના વંશજો, જેઓના પરિવાર ભાષા, પ્રદેશ અને રાષ્ટના એકમોમાં વ્યવસ્થિત હતા.

32 These are the families of the sons of Noah, after their generations, in their nations. And from these came the distribution of the nations on the earth after the flood.એમના રાષ્ટો પ્રમાંણે, નૂહમાંથી ઊતરી આવેલા આ લોકો છે. વિનાશક જળપ્રલય પછી પૃથ્વીની બધી પ્રજાઓ નૂહના વંશજોમાંથી ઊતરી આવેલી છે.
