Exodus 8:29
મૂસાએ કહ્યું, “સારું, હું અહીંથી તમાંરી પાસેથી જઈને તરત જ યહોવાને પ્રાર્થના કરીશ કે, તમે અને તમાંરા અમલદારો અને તમાંરી પ્રજા આવતી કાલે સવારે માંખીઓના ત્રાસથી મુક્ત થાઓ તેમ કરે. પણ તમાંરે અમને મૂર્ખ નથી બનાવવાના. યહોવાને યજ્ઞો અર્પવા અમને રણમાં જવા દો. અમને રોકશો નહિ.”

| thee, and I will intreat | וְהַעְתַּרְתִּ֣י | wĕhaʿtartî | veh-ha-tahr-TEE |

| the Lord | יְהוָ֔ה | yĕhwâ | yeh-VA |
| that the swarms | וְסָ֣ר | wĕsār | veh-SAHR |
| depart may flies of | הֶֽעָרֹ֗ב | heʿārōb | heh-ah-ROVE |
| from Pharaoh, | מִפַּרְעֹ֛ה | mipparʿō | mee-pahr-OH |
| servants, his from | מֵֽעֲבָדָ֥יו | mēʿăbādāyw | may-uh-va-DAV |
| and from his people, | וּמֵֽעַמּ֖וֹ | ûmēʿammô | oo-may-AH-moh |
| to morrow: | מָחָ֑ר | māḥār | ma-HAHR |
| but | רַ֗ק | raq | rahk |
| let not | אַל | ʾal | al |
| Pharaoh | יֹסֵ֤ף | yōsēp | yoh-SAFE |
| deal deceitfully | פַּרְעֹה֙ | parʿōh | pahr-OH |
