હવે તે બેખમીર રોટલીના પર્વનો પ્રથમ દિવસ હતો. આ સમયે યહૂદિઓ હંમેશા પાસ્ખાપર્વમાં ઘેટાંઓના બલિદાન કરતા. ઈસુના શિષ્યો તેની પાસે આવ્યા. તેઓએ કહ્યું, “અમે જઈશું અને પાસ્ખા ભોજન જમવા તારે માટે દરેક વસ્તુઓ તૈયાર કરીશું. ભોજન માટે ક્યાં જઈએ એ વિષે તારી ઈચ્છા શી છે?”
