Deuteronomy 28:29
જેથી તમે કોઈ આંધળો ધોળે દહાડે અંધારામાં ફાંફાં માંરે તેમ તમે ફાંફાં માંરશો છતાં તમને રસ્તો જડશે નહિ, સતત તમાંરું શોષણ થશે, તમે લૂંટાશો છતાં કોઈ તમને આવીને બચાવશે નહિ.

| grope | מְמַשֵּׁ֣שׁ | mĕmaššēš | meh-ma-SHAYSH |
| at noonday, | בַּֽצָּהֳרַ֗יִם | baṣṣāhŏrayim | ba-tsa-hoh-RA-yeem |
| as | כַּֽאֲשֶׁ֨ר | kaʾăšer | ka-uh-SHER |
| the blind | יְמַשֵּׁ֤שׁ | yĕmaššēš | yeh-ma-SHAYSH |
| gropeth | הַֽעִוֵּר֙ | haʿiwwēr | ha-ee-WARE |
| in darkness, | בָּֽאֲפֵלָ֔ה | bāʾăpēlâ | ba-uh-fay-LA |
| and thou shalt not | וְלֹ֥א | wĕlōʾ | veh-LOH |
| prosper | תַצְלִ֖יחַ | taṣlîaḥ | tahts-LEE-ak |
| אֶת | ʾet | et | |
| ways: thy in | דְּרָכֶ֑יךָ | dĕrākêkā | deh-ra-HAY-ha |
| and thou shalt be | וְהָיִ֜יתָ | wĕhāyîtā | veh-ha-YEE-ta |
| only | אַ֣ךְ | ʾak | ak |
| oppressed | עָשׁ֧וּק | ʿāšûq | ah-SHOOK |
| spoiled and | וְגָז֛וּל | wĕgāzûl | veh-ɡa-ZOOL |
| evermore, | כָּל | kāl | kahl |
| הַיָּמִ֖ים | hayyāmîm | ha-ya-MEEM | |
| and no man | וְאֵ֥ין | wĕʾên | veh-ANE |
| shall save | מוֹשִֽׁיעַ׃ | môšîaʿ | moh-SHEE-ah |
