Acts 22 - WEB (Gujarati)

1 "Brothers and fathers, listen to the defense which I now make to you."પાઉલે કહ્યું, “મારા ભાઈઓ અને મારા પિતાઓ, મને ધ્યાનથી સાંભળો! હું તમારી આગળ મારો બચાવ કરું છું.”

2 When they heard that he spoke to them in the Hebrew language, they were even more quiet. He said,યહૂદિઓએ સાંભળ્યું કે પાઉલ હિબ્રું ભાષા બોલે છે, તેથી તેઓ વધારે શાંત થયા. પાઉલે કહ્યું,

3 "I am indeed a Jew, born in Tarsus of Cilicia, but brought up in this city at the feet of Gamaliel, instructed according to the strict manner of the law of our fathers, being zealous for God, even as you all are this day.“હું એક યહૂદિ છું. મારો જન્મ કિલીકિયા પ્રદેશના તાર્સસમાં થયો હતો. હું આ શહેરમાં ઊછરેલો. હું ગમાલ્યેલનાશિષ્ય હતો. તેણે કાળજીપૂર્વક મને આપણા પૂર્વજોના નિયમો વિષે બધું જ શીખવ્યું. તમે બધા અહીં આજે જે કરો છો તેમ હું દેવની સેવા કરવા વિષે ઘણો ગંભીર હતો.

4 I persecuted this Way to the death, binding and delivering into prisons both men and women.જે લોકો ઈસુના માર્ગને અનુસરતા હતા. તેઓને મેં સતાવ્યા હતા. મારા કારણે તેઓમાંના કેટલાકની હત્યા પણ થઈ હતી. મેં પુરુંષો અને સ્ત્રીઓને પકડ્યા અને મેં તેઓને કારાવાસમાં નાખ્યા હતા.

5 As also the high priest and all the council of the elders testify, from whom also I received letters to the brothers, and traveled to Damascus to bring them also who were there to Jerusalem in bonds to be punished.“પ્રમુખ યાજક વડીલ યહૂદિ આગેવાનોની આખી સમિતિ તમને કહી શકશે કે આ સાચું છે! એક વખતે આ આગેવાનોએ મને કેટલાક પત્રો આપ્યા. આ પત્રો દમસ્ક શહેરના યહૂદિ ભાઈઓ માટે હતા. હું ત્યાં ઈસુના શિષ્યોને પકડવા અને તેમને શિક્ષા કરવા માટે યરૂશાલેમમાં પાછા લાવવા જતો હતો.

6 It happened that, as I made my journey, and came close to Damascus, about noon, suddenly there shone from the sky a great light around me.“પરંતુ દમસ્કના મારા માર્ગમાં મારી સાથે કંઈક બન્યું. તે લગભગ બપોર હતી જ્યારે હું દમસ્કની નજીક આવી પહોંચ્યો. અચાનક એક તેજસ્વી પ્રકાશ આકાશમાંથી મારી આજુબાજુ પ્રકાશ્યો.

7 I fell to the ground, and heard a voice saying to me, 'Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting me?'હું જમીન પર પડ્યો. મને કંઈક કહેતી વાણી મેં સાંભળી. ‘શાઉલ, શાઉલ તું શા માટે મારી સતાવણી કરે છે?’

8 I answered, 'Who are you, Lord?' He said to me, 'I am Jesus of Nazareth, whom you persecute.'“મેં પૂછયું, “પ્રભુ! તું કોણ છે!” તે વૅંણીએ કહ્યું, ‘હું નાઝરેથનો ઈસુ છું. તું જેને સતાવે છે તે હું એક છું.’

9 "Those who were with me indeed saw the light and were afraid, but they didn't understand the voice of him who spoke to me.મારી સાથે જે માણસો હતા તેઓ મારી સાથે જેણે વાત કરી છે તેની વાણી સમજી શક્યા ન હતા. પરંતુ માણસોએ પ્રકાશ જોયો.

10 I said, 'What shall I do, Lord?' The Lord said to me, 'Arise, and go into Damascus. There you will be told about all things which are appointed for you to do.'“મેં કહ્યું, ‘પ્રભુ, મારે શું કરવું જોઈએ?’ પ્રભુએ જવાબ આપ્યો, ‘ઊભો થા અને દમસ્કમાં જા અને મેં તારે કરવાના કામની યોજના કરી છે તે વિષે તને ત્યાં કહેવામાં આવશે.’

11 When I couldn't see for the glory of that light, being led by the hand of those who were with me, I came into Damascus.હું જોઈ શક્યો નહિ કારણ કે તેજસ્વી પ્રકાશે મને આંધળો બનાવ્યો હતો. તેથી જે માણસો મારી સાથે હતા. તેઓ મને દમસ્કમાં દોરી ગયા.

12 One Ananias, a devout man according to the law, well reported of by all the Jews who lived in Damascus,“દમસ્કમાં અનાન્યાનામનો માણસ મારી પાસે આવ્યો. અનાન્યા ધર્મિષ્ઠ માણસ હતો. તે મૂસાના નિયમશાસ્ત્રનું પાલન કરતો હતો. ત્યાં રહેતા બધા જ યહૂદિઓ તેને માન આપતા.

13 came to me, and standing by me said to me, 'Brother Saul, receive your sight!' In that very hour I looked up at him.અનાન્યા મારી પાસે આવ્યો અને મને કહ્યું, ‘ભાઈ શાઉલ, ફરીથી જો!’ તરત જ હું તેને જોવા સાર્મથ્યવાન થયો હતો.

14 He said, 'The God of our fathers has appointed you to know his will, and to see the Righteous One, and to hear a voice from his mouth.‘અનાન્યાએ મને કહ્યું, ‘અમારા પૂર્વજોના દેવે ઘણા વખત પહેલા તને પસંદ કર્યો છે. દેવે તેની યોજના જાણવા માટે તને પસંદ કર્યો છે. તેણે તને એક ન્યાયી જોવા તથા તેની પાસેથી બોધ સાંભળવા પસંદ કર્યો છે.

15 For you will be a witness for him to all men of what you have seen and heard.બધા લોકો સમક્ષ તું તેનો સાક્ષી થશે. તેં જોયેલી અને સાંભળેલી વાતો વિષે લોકોને કહે.

16 Now why do you wait? Arise, be baptized, and wash away your sins, calling on the name of the Lord.'હવે વધારે સમય રાહ જોઈશ નહિ. ઊભો થા, અને તેના નામની પ્રાર્થના કરીને બાપ્તિસ્મા લઈને તારા પાપ ધોઇ નાખ.’

17 "It happened that, when I had returned to Jerusalem, and while I prayed in the temple, I fell into a trance,“પછી, હું યરૂશાલેમ પાછો ફર્યો. હું મંદિરની પરસાળમાં પ્રાર્થના કરતો હતો. અને મેં એક દશ્ય જોયું.

18 and saw him saying to me, 'Hurry and get out of Jerusalem quickly, because they will not receive testimony concerning me from you.'મેં ઈસુને જોયો અને ઈસુએ મને કહ્યું, ‘ઉતાવળ કર, યરૂશાલેમ હમણા જ છોડી જા. અહીમના લોકો મારા વિશેનું સત્ય સ્વીકારશે નહિ.’

19 I said, 'Lord, they themselves know that I imprisoned and beat in every synagogue those who believed in you.“મેં કહ્યું, ‘પણ પ્રભુ લોકો જાણે છે કે હું તે હતો જેણે વિશ્વાસીઓને કારાવાસમાં નાખીને તેઓને માર્યા હતા. હું દરેક સભાસ્થાનમાં તારા પર જેઓ વિશ્વાસ કરે છે તેઓને શોધવા અને તે લોકોને પકડવા ગયો છું.

20 When the blood of Stephen, your witness, was shed, I also was standing by, and consenting to his death, and guarding the cloaks of those who killed him.'લોકો એ પણ જાણે છે કે જ્યારે તારા સાક્ષી સ્તેફનને મારી નાખ્યો હતો ત્યારે હું ત્યાં હતો. હું ત્યાં ઊભો રહીને સંમત થયો હતો કે તેઓએ સ્તેફનને મારી નાખવો જોઈએ. જે લોકો તેને મારી નાખતા હતા તેમનાં વસ્ત્રો પણ હું સાચવતો હતો.’

21 "He said to me, 'Depart, for I will send you out far from here to the Gentiles.'"“પણ ઈસુએ મને કહ્યું, ‘હવે ચાલ્યો જા. હું તને ઘણે દૂર બિનયહૂદિ લોકો પાસે મોકલીશ.”‘

22 They listened to him until he said that; then they lifted up their voice, and said, "Rid the earth of this fellow, for he isn't fit to live!"જ્યારે પાઉલે બિનયહૂદિ લોકો પાસે જવાની છેલ્લી વાત કરી ત્યારે લોકોએ ધ્યાનથી સાંભળવાનું બંધ કર્યુ. તેઓ બધાએ બૂમો પાડી, “તેને મારી નાખો! તેને પૃથ્વી પરથી દૂર કરો! આવા માણસને જીવતો રહેવા દેવો ના જોઈએ!”

23 As they cried out, and threw off their cloaks, and threw dust into the air,તેઓએ બૂમો પાડી અને તેઓના ડગલા ફેંકી દીધા. તેઓએ હવામાં ધૂળ ફેંકી.

24 the commanding officer commanded him to be brought into the barracks, ordering him to be examined by scourging, that he might know for what crime they shouted against him like that.પછી સરદારે સૈનિકોને પાઉલને લશ્કરના મકાનમાં લઈ જવા કહ્યું. તેણે પાઉલને મારવા માટે સૈનિકોને કહ્યું. તે પાઉલ પાસે કહેવડાવવા ઈચ્છતો હતો કે લોકો શા માટે આમ તેની વિરૂદ્ધ બૂમો પાડતા હતા.

25 When they had tied him up with thongs, Paul asked the centurion who stood by, "Is it lawful for you to scourge a man who is a Roman, and not found guilty?"તેથી સૈનિકો પાઉલને બાંધીને મારવાની તૈયારી કરતા હતા. પણ પાઉલે લશ્કરી સૂબેદારને કહ્યું, “શું તમને જે દોષિત સાબિત થયેલ નથી તે રોમન નાગરિકને મારવાનો અધીકાર છે?”

26 When the centurion heard it, he went to the commanding officer and told him, "Watch what you are about to do, for this man is a Roman!"જ્યારે સૂબેદાર આ સાંભળ્યું, તે સરદાર પાસે ગયો. તે સરદારે કહ્યું, “તું શું કરે છે તે તું જાણે છે? આ માણસ રોમન નાગરિક છે!”

27 The commanding officer came and asked him, "Tell me, are you a Roman?" He said, "Yes."સરદાર પાઉલ પાસે આવ્યો અને પૂછયું, “શું તું રોમન નાગરિક છે?”પાઉલે જવાબ આપ્યો, “હા.”

28 The commanding officer answered, "I bought my citizenship for a great price." Paul said, "But I was born a Roman."સરદારે કહ્યું, “મેં રોમન નાગરિક થવા માટે ઘણા પૈસા આપ્યા છે.”પણ પાઉલે કહ્યું, “હું તો જન્મથી જ રોમન નાગરિક છું.”

29 Immediately those who were about to examine him departed from him, and the commanding officer also was afraid when he realized that he was a Roman, because he had bound him.ત્યારે જેઓ તેને પ્રશ્રો કરવાની તૈયારીમાં હતા. તેઓ તરત પાઉલને મૂકીને જતા રહ્યા. તે સરદારને ભય હતો કારણ કે તેણે પાઉલને સખત બાંધ્યો હતો અને પાઉલ એક રોમન નાગરિક હતો.

30 But on the next day, desiring to know the truth about why he was accused by the Jews, he freed him from the bonds, and commanded the chief priests and all the council to come together, and brought Paul down and set him before them.બીજે દિવસે યહૂદિઓ પાઉલની વિરૂદ્ધ શા માટે બોલતા હતા. તેનું કારણ જાણવા માટે સરદારે નક્કી કર્યુ. તેથી તેણે મુખ્ય યાજકોને અને યહૂદિઓની ન્યાયસભાને હાજર થવા હુકમ કર્યો. તે સરદારે પાઉલની સાંકળો છોડી. પછી તે પાઉલને બહાર લાવ્યો અને તેઓની સભા આગળ પાઉલને ઊભો રાખ્યો.
