42 And they continued stedfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.

43 And fear came upon every soul: and many wonders and signs were done by the apostles.

44 And all that believed were together, and had all things common;

45 And sold their possessions and goods, and parted them to all men, as every man had need.

46 And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart,

42 વિશ્વાસીઓએ સંગતમાં ભેગા મળવાનું ચાલું રાખ્યું. તેઓ પ્રેરિતોના બોધ શીખવામાં તેઓના સમયનો ઉપયોગ કરતા. વિશ્વાસીઓ એકબીજાના સહભાગી બન્યા. તેઓ રોટલી ભાગવામાં તથા પ્રાર્થના કરવામાં લાગું રહ્યા.

43 પ્રેરિતો ઘણા અદભૂત કૃત્યો અને ચમત્કારો કરતા હતાં. પ્રત્યેક માણસના હ્રદયમાં દેવના માટે મહાન સન્માનની ભાવના જાગી.

44 બધા જ વિશ્વાસીઓ સાથે રહેતાં. તેઓ દરેક વસ્તુઓ વહેંચતા.
And all that believed were together, and had all things common;

45 વિશ્વાસીઓએ તેઓની જમીનો તથા તેઓની માલિકીની વસ્તુઓ વેચી અને પછી તે પૈસા તેઓનામાં જ દરેકની જરૂરીયાત પ્રમાણે વહેંચી આપ્યા.

46 વિશ્વાસીઓ પ્રતિદિન મંદિરના આંગણામાં ભેગા મળતા. તેઓ બધાને હેતુ સર્વ સામાન્ય હતો. તેઓ તેઓના ઘરોમાં એક સાથે જમતા. તેઓ રોટલી ભાંગીને ઉમંગથી તથા નિખાલસથી ખાતા.
