Acts 16 - YLT (Gujarati)

1 And he came to Derbe and Lystra, and lo, a certain disciple was there, by name Timotheus son of a certain woman, a believing Jewess, but of a father, a Greek,પાઉલ દર્બે અને લુસ્ત્રાના શહેરોમાં ગયો તિમોથી નામનો એક ઈસુનો શિષ્ય ત્યાં હતો. તિમોથીની માતા એક યહૂદિ વિશ્વાસી હતી. તેના પિતા એક ગ્રીક હતા.

2 who was well testified to by the brethren in Lystra and Iconium;લુસ્ત્રા અને ઈકોનિયામાંના વિશ્વાસીઓ તિમોથીને માન આપતા. તેઓ તેના વિષે સારી વાતો કહેતા.

3 this one did Paul wish to go forth with him, and having taken `him', he circumcised him, because of the Jews who are in those places, for they all knew his father -- that he was a Greek.પાઉલની ઈચ્છા હતી કે તિમોથી તેની સાથે મુસાફરી કરે. પરંતુ તે પ્રદેશમાં રહેતા તમામ યહૂદિઓ જાણતા હતા કે તિમોથીના પિતા ગ્રીક હતા. તેથી યહૂદિઓ ખાતર પાઉલે તિમોથીની સુન્નત કરાવી.

4 And as they were going on through the cities, they were delivering to them the decrees to keep, that have been judged by the apostles and the elders who `are' in Jerusalem,પછી પાઉલ અને તેની સાથેના માણસોએ એક ગામથી બીજે ગામ મુસાફરી કરી. તેઓએ વિશ્વાસીઓને પ્રેરિતો અને વડીલો તરફથી યરૂશાલેમમાં નિયમો અને નિર્ણયો આપ્યા. તેઓએ વિશ્વાસીઓને આ નિયમોનું પાલન કરવા કહ્યું.

5 then, indeed, were the assemblies established in the faith, and were abounding in number every day;તેથી મંડળીઓ વિશ્વાસમાં વધારે મજબૂત થતી હતી અને પ્રતિદિન વધારે મોટી થતી જતી હતી.

6 and having gone through Phrygia and the region of Galatia, having been forbidden by the Holy Spirit to speak the word in Asia,પાઉલ અને તેની સાથેના માણસો ફુગિયા અને ગલાતિયાના પ્રદેશોમાં થઈને ગયા. પવિત્ર આત્માએ તેઓને આસિયામાં સુવાર્તાનો બોધ કરવાની મના કરી હતી.

7 having gone toward Mysia, they were trying to go on toward Bithynia, and the Spirit did not suffer them,પાઉલ અને તિમોથી મૂસિયાની નજીકના પ્રદેશમાં ગયા. તેઓ બિથૂનિયાના પ્રદેશમાં જવા ઈચ્છતા હતા. પરંતુ ઈસુનો આત્મા તેઓને અંદર જવા દેતો ન હતો.

8 and having passed by Mysia, they came down to Troas.તેથી તેઓ મૂસિયાથી પસાર થઈ ત્રોઆસ આવ્યા.

9 And a vision through the night appeared to Paul -- a certain man of Macedonia was standing, calling upon him, and saying, `Having passed through to Macedonia, help us;' --તે રાત્રે પાઉલે એક દર્શન જોયું. આ દર્શનમાં મકદોનિયાનો એક માણસ પાઉલની પાસે આવ્યો. તે માણસે ત્યાં ઊભા રહીને વિનંતી કરી, “મકદોનિયા પાર કરીને આવો, અમને મદદ કરો!”

10 and when he saw the vision, immediately we endeavoured to go forth to Macedonia, assuredly gathering that the Lord hath called us to preach good news to them,પાઉલે દર્શન જોયું પછી, અમે તરત જ મકદોનિયા જવાની તૈયારી કરી. અમે સમજ્યા કે દેવે અમને પેલા લોકોને સુવાર્તા પ્રગટ કરવા માટે બોલાવ્યા છે.

11 having set sail, therefore, from Troas, we came with a straight course to Samothracia, on the morrow also to Neapolis,અમે વહાણમાં બેસીને ત્રોઆસ છોડ્યું, અને અમે સમોર્થાકી ટાપુ તરફ વહાણ સીધા હંકારી ગયા. બીજે દિવસે અમે નિયાપુલિસના શહેર તરફ વહાણ હંકાર્યુ.

12 thence also to Philippi, which is a principal city of the part of Macedonia -- a colony. And we were in this city abiding certain days,પછી અમે ફિલિપ્પી ગયા. ફિલિપ્પી મકદોનિયાના પ્રદેશમાં એક મહત્વનું શહેર છે. તે રોમનો માટેનું શહેર છે. અમે તે શહેરમાં થોડાક દિવસો માટે રહ્યા.

13 on the sabbath-day also we went forth outside of the city, by a river, where there used to be prayer, and having sat down, we were speaking to the women who came together,વિશ્રામવારના દિવસે શહેરના દરવાજા બહાર નદીએ ગયા. અમે વિચાર્યુ કે અમને પ્રાર્થના માટે નદી કિનારે જગ્યા મળશે. કેટલીક સ્ત્રીઓ ત્યાં ભેગી થઈ હતી. તેથી અમે ત્યાં બેઠા અને તેઓની સાથે વાતો કરી.

14 and a certain woman, by name Lydia, a seller of purple, of the city of Thyatira, worshipping God, was hearing, whose heart the Lord did open to attend to the things spoken by Paul;ત્યાં થુવાતિરા શહેરની એક લૂદિયા નામની સ્ત્રી હતી. તેનું કામ જાંબુડિયાં વેચવાનું હતું. તે સાચા દેવની ભક્તિ કરતી હતી, લૂદિયાએ પાઉલને ધ્યાનથી સાંભળ્યો. પ્રભુએ તનું હ્રદય ઉઘાડ્યું. તેણે પાઉલે જે કહ્યું તેમાં વિશ્વાસ મૂક્યો.

15 and when she was baptized, and her household, she did call upon us, saying, `If ye have judged me to be faithful to the Lord, having entered into my house, remain;' and she constrained us.તે અને તેના ઘરમાં રહેતા બધા લોકોનું બાપ્તિસ્મા કરવામાં આવ્યું. પછી લૂદિયાએ અમને તેના ઘરમાં નિમંત્રણ આપ્યું. તેણે કાલાવાલા કરીને કહ્યું, “જો તમે વિચારતા હોય કે હું પ્રભુ ઈસુની સાચી વિશ્વાસી છું, તો પછી મારા ઘરમાં આવો અને રહો.” તેણે અમને તેની સાથે રહેવા ઘણો આગ્રહ કર્યો.

16 And it came to pass in our going on to prayer, a certain maid, having a spirit of Python, did meet us, who brought much employment to her masters by soothsaying,જ્યારે અમે પ્રાર્થના માટેની જગ્યાએ જતા હતા ત્યારે એક વખતે અમારી સાથે કંઈક બન્યું. એક જુવાન દાસી અમને મળી. તેનામાં એક અગમસૂચક આત્માહતો. આ આત્મા તેને ભવિષ્યમાં શું થવાનું છે તે કહેવાનું સાર્મથ્ય આપતો. આમ કરવાથી તેણે ખૂબ પૈસા તેના માલિકને કમાવી આપ્યા.

17 she having followed Paul and us, was crying, saying, `These men are servants of the Most High God, who declare to us a way of salvation;'આ છોકરી પાઉલને અને અમને અનુસરી. તેણીએ મોટે સાદે કહ્યું, “આ માણસો પરાત્પર દેવના સેવકો છે! તેઓ તમને કહે છે તમારું તારણ કેવી રીતે થશે?”

18 and this she was doing for many days, but Paul having been grieved, and having turned, said to the spirit, `I command thee, in the name of Jesus Christ, to come forth from her;' and it came forth the same hour.ઘણા દિવસો સુધી તેણે આ કરવાનું ચાલુ રાખ્યું. પાઉલ બેચેન હતો. તેથી તેણે તેના તરફ ફરીને આત્માને કહ્યું, “ઈસુ ખ્રિસ્તના પરાક્રમથી હું તને આજ્ઞા કરું છું કે તું એનામાંથી બહાર નીકળી જા!” તરત જ તે આત્મા બહાર નીકળી ગયો.

19 And her masters having seen that the hope of their employment was gone, having caught Paul and Silas, drew `them' to the market-place, unto the rulers,જે માણસોની માલિકી આ સેવિકા છોકરી પર હતી તેઓએ આ જોયું. આ માણસોએ જાણ્યું કે હવે તેઓ પૈસા બનાવવા માટે તેણીનો ઉપયોગ કરી શકશે નહિ. તેથી તેઓએ પાઉલ અને સિલાસને પકડ્યા અને શહેરની સભાની જગ્યામાં ઘસડી લાવ્યા. શહેરના અધિકારીઓ ત્યાં હતા.

20 and having brought them to the magistrates, they said, `These men do exceedingly trouble our city, being Jews;તે માણસો પાઉલ અને સિલાસને આગેવાનોની આગળ લાવ્યા અને કહ્યું, “આ માણસો યહૂદિઓ છે. તેઓ આપણા શહેરમાં મુશ્કેલીઓ ઊભી કરે છે,

21 and they proclaim customs that are not lawful for us to receive nor to do, being Romans.'તેઓ લોકોને એવું કહે છે, જે આપણા માટે યોગ્ય નથી. આપણે રોમન નાગરિકો છીએ. આપણે આ વસ્તુઓ કરી શકીએ નહિ.”

22 And the multitude rose up together against them, and the magistrates having torn their garments from them, were commanding to beat `them' with rods,લોકો પાઉલ અને સિલાસની વિરૂદ્ધ થયા પછી તે આગેવાનોએ પાઉલ અને સિલાસના વસ્ત્રો ફાડી નાખ્યાં અને પાઉલ અને સિલાસને ફટકા મારવાની આજ્ઞા કરી.

23 many blows also having laid upon them, they cast them to prison, having given charge to the jailor to keep them safely,તે માણસોએ પાઉલ અને સિલાસને ઘણા ફટકા માર્યા. પછી આગેવાનોએ પાઉલ અને સિલાસને જેલમાં પૂર્યા. તે આગેવાનોએ દરોગાને કહ્યું, “સખ્ત જાપ્તા નીચે તેઓની ચોકી કરજે.”

24 who such a charge having received, did put them to the inner prison, and their feet made fast in the stocks.દરોગાએ આ ખાસ હુકમ પાળ્યો, તેથી તેણે પાઉલ અને સિલાસને જેલમાં ખૂબ દૂર અંદરની બાજુએ પૂર્યા. તેણે તેઓના પગ બે લાકડાના મોટા ટૂકડાઓ વચ્ચે બાંધી દીધા.

25 And at midnight Paul and Silas praying, were singing hymns to God, and the prisoners were hearing them,લગભગ મધરાતે પાઉલ અને સિલાસ પ્રાર્થના કરતા હતા અને દેવના સ્તોત્ર ગાતાં હતા. બીજા કેદીઓ તેઓને સાંભળતા હતાં.

26 and suddenly a great earthquake came, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken, opened also presently were all the doors, and of all -- the bands were loosed;અચાનક ત્યાં એક મોટો ધરતીકંપ થયો. તે એટલો બધો ભારે હતો કે તેનાથી કારાવાસના પાયા ધ્રુંજી ઊઠ્યા. પછી કારાવાસના બધા દરવાજા ઉઘડી ગયા. બધા કેદીઓ તેમની સાંકળોમાંથી મુક્ત થયા.

27 and the jailor having come out of sleep, and having seen the doors of the prison open, having drawn a sword, was about to kill himself, supposing the prisoners to be fled,સંત્રી જાગી ઊઠ્યો. તેણે જોયું કે કારાવાસના દરવાજા ઉધડી ગયા હતા. તેણે વિચાર્યુ, કે કેદીઓ લગભગ ભાગી ગયા છે. તેથી સંત્રીએ તેની તલવાર ઉપાડી અને તેની જાતે આત્મહત્યા કરવા જતો હતો.

28 and Paul cried out with a loud voice, saying, `Thou mayest not do thyself any harm, for we are all here.'પરંતુ પાઉલે પોકાર કર્યો, “તારી જાતને ઈજા કરતો નહિ! અમે બધા અહી છીએ!”

29 And, having asked for a light, he sprang in, and trembling he fell down before Paul and Silas,સંત્રીએ કોઇકને દીવો લાવવા મારે કહ્યું, પછી તે અંદર દોડ્યો. તે ધ્રુંજતો હતો. તે પાઉલ અને સિલાસની સમક્ષ પગે પડ્યો.

30 and having brought them forth, said, `Sirs, what must I do -- that I may be saved?'પછી તે તેઓને બહાર લાવ્યો અને કહ્યું, “હે સાહેબો, મારે તારણ પામવા શું કરવું જોઈએ?”

31 and they said, `Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved -- thou and thy house;'તેઓએ તેને કહ્યું, “પ્રભુ ઈસુમાં વિશ્વાસ કર અને તું બચી જઈશ. તું અને તારા ઘરમાં રહેતા બધા લોકો તારણ પામશે.”

32 and they spake to him the word of the Lord, and to all those in his household;તેથી પાઉલ અને સિલાસે પ્રભુનું વચન દરોગા અને તેના ઘરના બધા લોકોને કહ્યું.

33 and having taken them, in that hour of the night, he did bathe `them' from the blows, and was baptized, himself and all his presently,તે રાતનો મોડો સમય હતો. પરંતુ સંત્રીએ પાઉલ અને સિલાસને લઈ જઈને તેઓના ઘા ધોયા. પછી સંત્રી અને તેના બધા લોકોને બાપ્તિસ્મા આપવામાં આવ્યું.

34 having brought them also into his house, he set food before `them', and was glad with all the household, he having believed in God.આ પછી સંત્રીએ પાઉલ અને સિલાસને ઘેર લઈ ગયો અને તેઓને માટે જમવાનું તૈયાર કરાવ્યું. તે અને તેના ઘરના બધા જ લોકોએ ખૂબ આનંદ કર્યો. કારણ કે તેઓ હવે દેવમાં વિશ્વાસ કરતા હતા.

35 And day having come, the magistrates sent the rod-bearers, saying, `Let those men go;'બીજી સવારે આગેવાનોએ કેટલાક સૈનિકોને સંત્રીને કહેવા મોકલ્યા, “આ માણસોને મુક્ત કરો અને જવા દો!”

36 and the jailor told these words unto Paul -- `The magistrates have sent, that ye may be let go; now, therefore, having gone forth go on in peace;'સંત્રીએ પાઉલને કહ્યું, “આગેવાનોએ તમને મુક્ત કરીને છોડી મૂકવા આ સૈનિકો મોકલ્યા છે. તમે હવે અહીથી જઈ શકો છો. શાંતિથી જાઓ.”

37 and Paul said to them, `Having beaten us publicly uncondemned -- men, Romans being -- they did cast `us' to prison, and now privately do they cast us forth! why no! but having come themselves, let them bring us forth.'પરંતું પાઉલે સૈનિકોને કહ્યું, “તમારા આગેવાનોએ સાબિત કર્યુ નથી કે અમે ખોટું કર્યુ છે. પણ તેઓએ અમને લોકોની સામે માર્યા અને કારાવાસમાં પૂર્યા. અમે રોમન નાગરિકો છીએ. તેથી અમને હક્ક છે. હવે આગેવાનોની ઈચ્છા અમને ગુપ્ત રીતે જવા દેવાની છે. ના! આગેવાનોએ આવવું જોઈએ અને અમને બહાર લાવવા જોઈએ!

38 And the rod-bearers told to the magistrates these sayings, and they were afraid, having heard that they are Romans,સૈનિકોએ પાઉલે જે કહ્યું તે આગેવાનોને કહ્યું, જ્યારે આગેવાનોએ સાંભળ્યું કે પાઉલ અને સિલાસ રોમન નાગરિકો છે, ત્યારે તેઓ ડરી ગયા હતા.

39 and having come, they besought them, and having brought `them' forth, they were asking `them' to go forth from the city;તેથી તેઓએ આવીને પાઉલ અને સિલાસને કહ્યું કે તેઓ દિલગીર છે. તેઓ પાઉલ અને સિલાસને કારાવાસની બહાર લઈ ગયા અને તેમને શહેર છોડી જવા કહ્યું.

40 and they, having gone forth out of the prison, entered into `the house of' Lydia, and having seen the brethren, they comforted them, and went forth.પરંતુ જ્યારે પાઉલ અને સિલાસ કારાવાસમાંથી બહાર આવ્યા. તેઓ લૂદિયાને ઘેર ગયા. તેઓએ ત્યાં કેટલાક વિશ્વાસીઓને જોયા અને તેઓને દિલાસો આપ્યો પછી પાઉલ અને સિલાસ વિદાય થયા.
