3 John 1 - ASV (Gujarati)

1 The elder unto Gaius the beloved, whom I love in truth.જેના પર હું સત્યમાં પ્રેમ રાખું છું,તે પ્રિય ગાયસ જોગ લખિતંગ વડીલ તરફથી કુશળતા:

2 Beloved, I pray that in all things thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.મારા પ્રિય મિત્ર, હું જાણું છું તારો આત્મા કુશળ છે. તેથી હું પ્રાર્થના કરું છું કે તું બધી રીતે કુશળ રહે. અને હુ પ્રાર્થના કરું છું કે તું તંદુરસ્ત રહે.

3 For I rejoiced greatly, when brethren came and bare witness unto thy truth, even as thou walkest in truth.કેટલાએક ખ્રિસ્તમાં ભાઈઓ આવ્યા અને તારા જીવનના સત્ય વિષે મને કહ્યું. તેઓએ મને કહ્યુ કે તું સત્યના માર્ગને અનુસરી રહ્યો છે. તેથી હું ઘણો ખુશ થયો.

4 Greater joy have I none than this, to hear of my children walking in the truth.જ્યારે હું સાંભળું છું કે મારાં બાળકો સત્યના માર્ગને અનુસરે છે ત્યારે મને હંમેશા સૌથી વધુ આનંદ થાય છે.

5 Beloved, thou doest a faithful work in whatsoever thou doest toward them that are brethren and strangers withal;મારા પ્રિય મિત્ર, તું ખ્રિસ્તમાં ભાઈઓને માટે હા, પારકા ભાઈઓને માટે પણ, તું જે કંઈ કરે છે તે તું વિશ્વાસ કરનારને યોગ્ય કામ કરે છે. તુ જેને જાણતો નથી એવા ભાઈઓને પણ તું મદદ કરે છે.

6 who bare witness to thy love before the church: whom thou wilt do well to set forward on their journey worthily of God:આ ભાઈઓએ મંડળીને તારા પ્રેમ વિશે વાત કરી છે. કૃપા કરીને તેઓનો પ્રવાસ ચાલુ રાખવામાં તેઓને મદદ કર. દેવ પ્રસન્ન થાય તે રીતે તેઓને મદદ કર.

7 because that for the sake of the Name they went forth, taking nothing of the Gentiles.આ ભાઈઓ ખ્રિસ્તની સેવા કરવા માટે આજુબાજુ પ્રવાસ કરી રહ્યા છે. તેઓ જે લોકો વિશ્વાસીઓ નથી તેઓની કોઈ પણ પ્રકારની મદદનો સ્વીકાર કરતા નથી.

8 We therefore ought to welcome such, that we may be fellow-workers for the truth.તેથી આપણે આ ભાઈઓને મદદ કરવી જોઈએ. જ્યારે આપણે તેઓને મદદ કરીએ છીએ, ત્યારે આપણે તેઓના સત્ય માટેના કાર્યમાં સહભાગી થઈએ છીએ.

9 I wrote somewhat unto the church: but Diotrephes, who loveth to have the preeminence among them, receiveth us not.મેં મંડળીને પત્ર લખ્યો છે.પણ દિયોત્રફેસ અમે જે કહીએ છીએ તે ધ્યાનપૂર્વક સાંભળતો નથી. તે હંમેશા તેઓનો આગેવાન થવા ઈચ્છે છે.

10 Therefore, if I come, I will bring to remembrance his works which he doeth, prating against us with wicked words: and not content therewith, neither doth he himself receive the brethren, and them that would he forbiddeth and casteth `them' out of the church.જયારે હું આવીશ, ત્યારે હું દિયોત્રફેસ શું કરે છે તે વિશે કહીશ. તે જૂઠુ બોલે છે અને અમારા વિષે ભૂંડું બોલે છે. પરંતુ તે જે બધું કરે છે તે એટલું જ નથી! તે જે ભાઈઓ ખ્રિસ્તની સેવાનાં કામો કરે છે તેઓને મદદ કરવાની પણ ના પાડે છે. દિયોત્રફેસ પેલા લોકો જે ભાઈઓને મદદ કરવા ઈચ્છે છે તેઓને પણ અટકાવે છે. અને તે લોકોને મંડળીમાંથી બહિષ્કૃત કરે છે.

11 Beloved, imitate not that which is evil, but that which is good. He that doeth good is of God: he that doeth evil hath not seen God.મારા પ્રિય મિત્ર, જે ખરાબ છે તેને અનુસરો નહિ; જે સારું છે તેને અનુસરો. જે વ્યક્તિ સારું છે તે કરે છે તે દેવથી છે. પણ જે વ્યક્તિ દુષ્ટ કાર્ય કરે છે તેણે કદી દેવને ઓળખ્યો નથી.

12 Demetrius hath the witness of all `men', and of the truth itself: yea, we also bear witness: and thou knowest that our witness is true.બધા લોકો દેમેત્રિયસ વિષે સારું બોલે છે. અને તેઓ જે કહે છે તે સાથે સત્ય સંમત થાય છે. આપણે પણ તેના માટે સારું કહીએ છીએ. અને તમે જાણો છો કે આપણે જે કહીએ છીએ તે સાચું છે.

13 I had many things to write unto thee, but I am unwilling to write `them' to thee with ink and pen:મારી પાસે ઘણું છે જે મારે તમને કહેવું છે. પણ હું શાહી અને કલમનો ઉપયોગ કરવા ઈચ્છતો નથી.

14 but I hope shortly to see thee, and we shall speak face to face. Peace `be' unto thee. The friends salute thee. Salute the friends by name.હું જલ્દીથી તારી મુલાકાત લેવાની આશા રાખું છું. પછી આપણે સાથે મળીને વાતો કરી શકીશું.

15 []તને શાંતિ થાઓ. જે મિત્રો અહીં મારી સાથે છે તેઓ તને ક્ષેમકુશળ કહે છે. મહેરબાની કરીને ત્યાંના દરેક મિત્રોને વ્યક્તિગત રીતે અમારો પ્રેમ અને ક્ષેમકુશળ કહેજે.
