2 And unto David were sons born in Hebron: and his firstborn was Amnon, of Ahinoam the Jezreelitess;

3 And his second, Chileab, of Abigail the wife of Nabal the Carmelite; and the third, Absalom the son of Maacah the daughter of Talmai king of Geshur;

4 And the fourth, Adonijah the son of Haggith; and the fifth, Shephatiah the son of Abital;

5 And the sixth, Ithream, by Eglah David’s wife. These were born to David in Hebron.

2 હેબ્રોનમાં દાઉદને ત્યાં છ પુત્રોનો જન્મ થયો. તેનો જયેષ્ઠ પુત્ર આમ્નોન હતો. દાઉદની પત્ની આહીનોઆમ જે યિઝએલની હતી તેને જન્મ આપ્યો હતો.

3 બીજો પુત્ર કિલઆબ હતો, જેની માંતા કામેર્લના નાબાલની વિધવા અબીગાઈલ હતી. ત્રીજો પુત્ર આબ્શાલોમ હતો. તેની માંતા ગશૂરના રાજા તાલ્માંયની પુત્રી માંઅખાહ હતી.

4 ચોથો પુત્ર અદોનિયા હતો જેની માંતા હાગ્ગીથ હતી અને પાંચમાં પુત્ર શફાટયાંની માં અબીટાલ હતી.

5 છઠ્ઠા પુત્ર યિર્થઆમની માંતા દાઉદની પત્ની એગ્લાહ હતી. આ બધા દાઉદને ત્યાં હેબ્રોનમાં જન્મ્યાં હતાં.
