14 પછી દાઉદે તેના સંદેશવાહકો માંરફત ઇશબોશેથ પર આ સંદેશો મોકલ્યો, “મને માંરી પત્ની મીખાલ પાછી સોંપી દે. સો પલિસ્તીઓને માંરીને હું તેને પરણ્યો હતો.”
15 તેથી ઈશબોશેથ મીખાલને તેના પતિ લાઈશના પુત્ર પાલ્ટીએલ પાસેથી લાવવા મોકલ્યા.
16 પાલ્ટીએલ બાહુરીમ સુધી તેની પાછળ રડતો રડતો આવ્યો, પણ આબ્નેરે તેને કહ્યું, “ઘેર પાછો જા.” એટલે તે પાછો ગયો.
14 And David sent messengers to Ish-bosheth Saul’s son, saying, Deliver me my wife Michal, which I espoused to me for an hundred foreskins of the Philistines.
15 And Ish-bosheth sent, and took her from her husband, even from Phaltiel the son of Laish.
16 And her husband went with her along weeping behind her to Bahurim. Then said Abner unto him, Go, return. And he returned.
