અહીથોફેલે તેને કહ્યું, “આપના પિતા તેની થોડી ઉપપત્નીઓને મહેલમાં તેની સંભાળ લેવા માંટે મૂકી ગયા હતા, જાઓ અને તેમની આબરૂ લો. તેથી સર્વ ઇસ્રાએલીઓને જાણ થશે કે, આપને આપના પિતા સાથે દુશ્મનાવટ છે. અને આપના ટેકેદારોને હિંમત મળશે.”

And Ahithophel	אֲחִיתֹ֙פֶל֙	ʾăḥîtōpel	uh-hee-toh-FEL
unto	אֶל	ʾēl	ale
Absalom,	אַבְשָׁלֹ֔ם	ʾăbîšālôm	uh-vee-sha-LOME
Go in	בּ֚וֹא	bôʾ	boh
unto	אֶל	ʾēl	ale
concubines,	פִּֽלַגְשֵׁ֣י	pîlegeš	pee-leh-ɡESH
thy father's	אָבִ֔יךָ	ʾāb	av
which	אֲשֶׁ֥ר	ʾăšer	uh-SHER
he hath left	הִנִּ֖יחַ	yānaḥ	ya-NAHK
to keep	לִשְׁמ֣וֹר	šāmar	sha-MAHR
the house;	הַבָּ֑יִת	bayit	ba-YEET
shall hear	וְשָׁמַ֤ע	šāmaʿ	sha-MA
and all	כָּל	kōl	kole
Israel	יִשְׂרָאֵל֙	yiśrāʾēl	yees-ra-ALE
that	כִּֽי	kî	kee
thou art abhorred	נִבְאַ֣שְׁתָּ	bāʾaš	ba-ASH
of	אֶת	ʾēt	ate
thy father:	אָבִ֔יךָ	ʾāb	av
thee be strong.	וְחָ֣זְק֔וּ	ḥāzaq	ha-ZAHK
then shall the hands	יְדֵ֖י	yād	yahd
of all	כָּל	kōl	kole
that	אֲשֶׁ֥ר	ʾăšer	uh-SHER
with	אִתָּֽךְ׃	ʾēt	ate
