2 Chronicles 30:17
જે લોકો ભેગા થયા હતા તેઓમાંના ઘણાએ વિધિપૂર્વક દેહશુદ્ધિ કરી નહોતી, એટલે એ લોકો રિવાજ પ્રમાણે પાસ્ખાના હલવાન ચઢાવી શકે એમ નહોતા. આથી તેમના વતી યહોવા માટે હલવાનો પવિત્ર કરીને, પાસ્ખાના બલિ ચઢાવવાનું કામ લેવીઓને સોંપવામાં આવ્યું.
