વળી દેવના મંદિરમાંથી જે બધું સોનું-ચાંદી તથા જે સર્વ પાત્રો તેને મળ્યા હતાં, તે લઇને તે સમરૂન પાછો ફર્યો. આ બધી વસ્તુઓ ઓબેદ-એદોમના તાબામાં હતી-તે રાજાના મહેલમાંથી પણ સંપત્તિ લઇ આવ્યો હતો અને થોડા કેદીઓને પણ સમરૂન પાછા લાવ્યો હતો.
