1 Samuel 17:50
આમ, દાઉદે પથ્થર અને ગોફણ વડે પલિસ્તી ઉપર જીત મેળવી અને તરવાર વગર જ તેને માંરી નાખ્યો.

So David	וַיֶּֽחֱזַ֨ק	wayyeḥĕzaq	va-yeh-hay-ZAHK
prevailed	דָּוִ֤ד	dāwid	da-VEED
over	מִן	min	meen
the Philistine	הַפְּלִשְׁתִּי֙	happĕlištiy	ha-peh-leesh-TEE
sling a with	בַּקֶּ֣לַע	baqqelaʿ	ba-KEH-la
and with a stone,	וּבָאֶ֔בֶן	ûbāʾeben	oo-va-EH-ven
and smote	וַיַּ֥ךְ	wayyak	va-YAHK
	אֶת	ʾet	et
the Philistine,	הַפְּלִשְׁתִּ֖י	happĕlištî	ha-peh-leesh-TEE
and slew	וַיְמִתֵ֑הוּ	waymitēhû	vai-mee-TAY-hoo
no was there but him;	וְחֶ֖רֶב	wĕḥereb	veh-HEH-rev
sword	אֵ֥ין	ʾên	ane
in the hand	בְּיַד	bĕyad	beh-YAHD
of David.	דָּוִֽד׃	dāwid	da-VEED
