1 Chronicles 11 - YLT (Gujarati)

1 And gathered are all Israel unto David to Hebron, saying, `Lo, thy bone and thy flesh `are' we;ત્યારબાદ સર્વ ઇસ્રાએલીઓએ હેબ્રોનમાં ભેગા થઇને દાઉદને કહ્યું, “અમે તમારા જ કુટુંબીજનો છીએ.

2 even in time past, even in Saul's being king, it is thou who art taking out and bringing in Israel, and Jehovah thy God saith to thee: Thou dost feed My people Israel, and thou art leader over My people Israel.'ભૂતકાળમાં જ્યારે શાઉલ અમારો રાજા હતો ત્યારે પણ તમે જ ઇસ્રાએલી સેનાની આગેવાની લેતા હતા, અને તમારા દેવ યહોવાએ તમને કહ્યું હતું કે, ‘મારા લોકોની, ઇસ્રાએલની સારસંભાળ લેનાર માણસ તું છે, તું જ તેમનો શાસનકર્તા થવાનો છે.”‘

3 And all the elders of Israel come in unto the king to Hebron, and David maketh with them a covenant in Hebron before Jehovah, and they anoint David for king over Israel, according to the word of Jehovah by the hand of Samuel.આથી ઇસ્રાએલના બધા આગેવાનો રાજા દાઉદ પાસે હેબ્રોનમાં આવ્યા અને દાઉદે યહોવાની સાક્ષીએ તેમની સાથે હેબ્રોનમાં કરાર કર્યો અને તેમણે દાઉદનો ઇસ્રાએલના રાજા તરીકે અભિષેક કર્યો, અને એ રીતે યહોવાએ શમુએલને આપેલું વચન પરિપૂર્ણ થયું.

4 And David goeth, and all Israel, to Jerusalem -- it `is' Jebus -- and there the Jebusite, the inhabitants of the land.પછી દાઉદ અને આખુ ઇસ્રાએલ યરૂશાલેમ જે યબૂસ તરીકે ઓળખાતું ત્યાં ગયા; ત્યાં યબૂસી અને તેના મૂળ વતનીઓ રહેતા હતા.

5 And the inhabitants of Jebus say to David, `Thou dost not come in hither;' and David captureth the fortress of Zion -- it `is' the city of David.યબૂસના રહેવાસીઓએ તેઓને નગરમાં પ્રવેશવા દીધા નહિ. તો પણ દાઉદે સિયોનનો કિલ્લો જીતી લીધો. તે પાછળથી દાઉદનગર તરીકે ઓળખાયો.

6 And David saith, `Whoever smiteth the Jebusite first doth become head and prince;' and go up first doth Joab son of Zeruiah and becometh head.દાઉદે કહ્યું, “જે કોઇ યબૂસીઓને મારવામાં પહેલ કરશે તેને સરસેનાપતિ બનાવવામાં આવશે.” યોઆબ બીન સરૂયાએ સૌથી પહેલો હુમલો કર્યો અને તેથી તેને સરસેનાપતિ બનાવવામાં આવ્યો.

7 And David dwelleth in the fortress, therefore they have called it, `City of David;'દાઉદે એ ગઢમાં વસવાટ કર્યો અને તેથી તેનું નામ દાઉદ-નગર પડ્યું.

8 and he buildeth the city round about, from Millo, and unto the circumference, and Joab restoreth the rest of the city.દાઉદે મિલ્લોથી લઇને બધી બાજુ બાકીના શહેરને ફરીથી બંધાવ્યા. બાકીનું શહેર પછી યોઆબે બંધાવ્યા.

9 And David goeth, going on and becoming great, and Jehovah of Hosts `is' with him.આમ દાઉદ ઉત્તરોત્તર બળવાન થતો ગયો, કારણકે સર્વસમર્થ યહોવા દેવ તેની સાથે હતા.

10 And these `are' heads of the mighty ones whom David hath, who are strengthening themselves with him in his kingdom, with all Israel, to cause him to reign, according to the word of Jehovah, over Israel.દાઉદના પરાક્રમી મુખ્ય યોદ્ધાઓ જેમણે તેને ટેકો આપ્યો હતો અને યહોવાએ વચન આપ્યા પ્રમાણે સમગ્ર ઇસ્રાએલનો રાજા થવામાં તેને મદદ કરી હતી. તેમની યાદી આ પ્રમાણે છે;

11 And this `is' an account of the mighty ones whom David hath: Jashobeam son of a Hachmonite `is' head of the thirty; he is lifting up his spear against three hundred -- wounded, at one time.પહેલો હાખ્મોની કુલનો યાશોબઆમ જે રાજાની ખાસ સેનાનો નાયક હતો.તેણે ભાલા વડે 300 માણસોને એકી સાથે રહેંસી નાખ્યા હતા.

12 And after him `is' Eleazar son of Dodo the Ahohite, he `is' among the three mighty;વીર ત્રિપુટીનો બીજો અહોહીનાં વંશનો એલઆઝાર હતો. તે દોદોનો પુત્ર હતો.

13 he hath been with David in Pas-Dammim, and the Philistines have been gathered there to battle, and a portion of the field is full of barley, and the people have fled from the face of the Philistines,જ્યારે પલિસ્તીઓ પાસ-દામ્મીમમાં યુદ્ધ માટે ભેગા થયા ત્યારે એ જવના એક ખેતરમાં દાઉદની સાથે હતો. સૈન્ય પલિસ્તીઓથી ભાગી ગયું હતું.

14 and they station themselves in the midst of the portion, and deliver it, and smite the Philistines, and Jehovah saveth -- a great salvation.પણ એલઆઝાર ભાગ્યો નહિ અને તેણે પલિસ્તીઓ પર હુમલો કર્યો. યહોવાએ તેને ભવ્ય વિજ્ય અપાવ્યો.

15 And three of the thirty heads go down on the rock unto David, unto the cave of Adullam, and the host of the Philistines is encamping in the valley of Rephaim,બીજી વખતે પલિસ્તીઓની એક ટુકડીએ જ્યારે રફાઇમની ખીણમાં છાવણી નાખી હતી ત્યારે ત્રીસ શૂરવીરોમાંના ત્રણ અદુલ્લામની ગુફા નજીકના ખડક આગળ દાઉદને જઇને મળ્યા.

16 and David `is' then in the fortress, and the station of the Philistines `is' then in Beth-Lehem,તે વખતે દાઉદ ત્યાં સંતાયેલો હતો અને પલિસ્તીઓની છાવણી બેથલેહેમમાં હતી.

17 and David longeth, and saith, `Who doth give me to drink water from the well of Beth-Lehem, that `is' at the gate!'દાઉદને તીવ્ર ઈરછા થઇ અને તેણે પુછયું, “મને, બેથલેહેમના દરવાજા બાજુ આવેલા કૂંવાનુઁ પાણી પીવાની ઇચ્છા થઇ છે.”

18 And the three break through the camp of the Philistines, and draw water from the well of Beth-Lehem, that `is' at the gate, and bear and bring in unto David, and David hath not been willing to drink it, and poureth it out to Jehovah,એટલે આ વીરત્રિપુટી પલિસ્તીઓની છાવણીમાં થઇને બેથલેહેમ પહોંચી, તેઓએ કૂવામાથી પાણી કાઢયું અને દાઉદ પાસે લઇ આવ્યા. દાઉદે તે પીવા ના પાડી. પણ યહોવા સમક્ષ તે પાણી અર્પણ તરીકે રેડી દીધું.

19 and saith, `Far be it from me, by my God, to do this; the blood of these men do I drink with their lives? for with their lives they have brought it;' and he was not willing to drink it; these `things' did the three mighty ones.તેણે કહ્યું, “આ પાણી હું પીઉં એમ બને કેવી રીતે? હે દેવ! એ તો પોતાના પ્રાણ જોખમમાં મૂકનાર આ શૂરવીરોનું લોહી પીધા બરોબર થાય. પોતાના જીવના જોખમે એ લોકો તે લાવ્યા છે.” આથી તેણે તે પીવાની ના પાડી. આ ‘વીરત્રિપુટી’ ઓના આવા કામો હતા.

20 And Abishai brother of Joab, he hath been head of the three: and he is lifting up his spear against three hundred -- wounded, and hath a name among three.યોઆબનો ભાઇ અબીશાય એ ત્રણ શૂરવીરોનો સરદાર હતો. એક વખત તેણે ભાલા વડે 300 દુશ્મનો સાથે યુદ્ધ કરી તેમને પૂરા કર્યા હતા અને તે ત્રિપુટીમાં પ્રખ્યાત બની ગયો હતો.

21 Of the three by the two he is honoured, and becometh their head; and unto the `first' three he hath not come.ત્રણ શૂરવીરોમાં તે સૌથી વધુ પ્રખ્યાત હતો અને તેથી તેમનો સરદાર બન્યો, પણ તે પહેલા ત્રણેય માંથી એક નહતો.

22 Benaiah son of Jehoiada, son of a man of valour, of great deeds, from Kabzeel: he hath smitten the two lion-like Moabites, and he hath gone down and smitten the lion in the midst of the pit, in the day of snow.યહોયાદાનો પુત્ર કાબ્સેએલ ગામના બનાયાનો પરાક્રમી યોદ્ધો હતો. તેણે મોઆબના બે પ્રખ્યાત કદાવર પુરુષોને મારી નાખ્યા હતા. વળી એક વાર હિમ પડતું હતું ત્યારે કોતરમાં ઊતરીને તેણે એક સિંહને મારી નાખ્યો હતો.

23 And he hath smitten the man, the Egyptian -- a man of measure, five by the cubit -- and in the hand of the Egyptian `is' a spear like a beam of weavers, and he goeth down unto him with a rod, and taketh violently away the spear out of the hand of the Egyptian, and slayeth him with his own spear.વળી, સાડાસાત ફૂટ ઊંચા મહાકાય મિસરીને મારનાર પણ એ જ હતો. એ મિસરી પાસે સાળના પાટડા જેવો મોટો ભાલો હતો. પણ બનાયા ફકત એક લાકડી લઇને તેની સામે પહોંચી ગયો. અને તેના હાથમાંથી ભાલો ઝૂંટવી તેના જ ભાલા વડે તેને મારી નાંખ્યો.

24 These `things' hath Benaiah son of Jehoiada done, and hath a name among the three mighty ones.ત્રિપુટીમાં તે પ્રખ્યાત થયો અને

25 Of the thirty, lo, he `is' honoured, and unto the `first' three he hath not come, and David setteth him over his guard.ત્રીસ શ્રેષ્ઠ યોદ્ધાઓમાં તે ઘણો પ્રખ્યાત હતો. દાઉદે તેને પોતાના અંગરક્ષકોનો નાયક બનાવ્યો હતો. તે ત્રિપુટીમાંનો એક નહોતો છતાં પણ.

26 And the mighty ones of the forces `are' Asahel brother of Joab, Elhanan son of Dodo of Beth-Lehem,દાઉદનાં બીજા શૂરવીરોનાં નામ આ પ્રમાણે છે; યોઆબનો ભાઇ અસાહેલ, બેથલેહેમના દોદોનો પુત્ર એલ્હાનાન,

27 Shammoth the Harorite, Helez the Pelonite,હરોરનો વતની શામ્મોથ, પલોનનો વતની હેલેસ;

28 Ira son of Ikkesh the Tekoite, Abi-Ezer the Annethothite,ઇરા-ઇક્કોશનો પુત્ર અને તકોઆનો વતની, અનાથોથનો વતની અબીએઝેર,

29 Sibbecai the Hushathite, Ilai the Ahohite,હુશાનો વતની સિબ્બખાય, અયોહીનો વતની ઇલાહ;

30 Maharai the Netophathite, Heled son of Baanah the Netophathite,નટોફાનો વતની માહરાય, હેલેદ-બાઅનાહનો પુત્ર અને નટોફાનો વતની,

31 Ithai son of Ribai of Gibeah, of the sons of Benjamin, Benaiah the Pirathonite,બિન્યામીનના ગિબયાહનો વતની ઇથાય-રીબાયનો પુત્ર, પિરઆથોનનો વતની બનાયા;

32 Hurai of the brooks of Gaash, Abiel the Arbathite,ગાઆશની ઘાટ પાસેનો વતની હૂરાય, આર્બાથનો વતની અબીએલ,

33 Azmaveth the Baharumite, Eliahba the Shaalbonite,બાહરૂમનો વતની આઝમાવેથ, શાઆલ્બોનીનો વતની એલ્યાહબા,

34 the sons of Hashem the Gizonite, Jonathan son of Shage the Hararite,ગેઝોનીના હાશેમના પુત્રો, હારારીનો વતની શાગેનો પુત્ર યોનાથન,

35 Ahiam son of Sacar the Hararite, Eliphal son of Ur,હારારી સાખારનો પુત્ર અહીઆમ, ઉરનો પુત્ર અલીફાહ,

36 Hepher the Mecherathite, Ahijah the Pelonite,મખેરાથનો વતની હેફેર પલોનનો વતની અહિયા,

37 Hezor the Carmelite, Naarai son of Ezbai,કામેર્લનો વતની હેસ્રો અને એઝબાયનો પુત્ર નાઅરાય,

38 Joel brother of Nathan, Mibhar son of Haggeri,નાથાનનો ભાઇ યોએલ, હાગ્રીનો પુત્ર મિબ્હાર,

39 Zelek the Ammonite, Naharai the Berothite, bearer of the weapons of Joab son of Zeruiah,આમ્મોનનો પુત્ર સેલેક, બેરોથનો પુત્ર નાહરાય-જે સરૂયા પુત્ર યોઆબનો શસ્રવાહક હતો;

40 Ira the Ithrite, Gareb the Ithrite,યિથોના ઇરા, અને ગારેબ,

41 Uriah the Hittite, Zabad son of Ahlai,ઊરિયા હિત્તી, આહલાયનો પુત્ર ઝાબાદ,

42 Adina son of Shiza the Reubenite, head of the Reubenites, and by him thirty,રૂબેનના કુલસમૂહના શીઝાનો પુત્ર અદીના, જે રૂબેનના કુલના આગેવાનોમાંનો એક હતો. અને તેની સાથે બીજા ત્રીસ હતા.

43 Hanan son of Maachah, and Joshaphat the Mithnite,માઅખાહનો પુત્ર હાનાન, મિથ્નાનનો વતની યહોશાફાટ,

44 Uzzia the Ashterathite, Shama and Jehiel sons of Hothan the Aroerite,આશ્તરાથી ઉઝિઝયા, હોથામનો પુત્ર શામા અને અરોએરનો યેઇએલ.

45 Jediael son of Shimri, and Joha his brother the Tizite,શિમ્રીનો પુત્ર યદીઅએલ, યદીઅએલનો ભાઇ તીસાનો વતની યોહા તીસી;

46 Eliel the Mahavite, and Jeribai, and Joshaviah, sons of Elnaam, and Ithmah the Moabite,માહવીનો પુત્ર અલીએલ, એલ્નાઆમના પુત્ર યરીબાય તથા યોશાવ્યા ને મોઆબી યિથ્માહ.

47 Eliel, and Obed, and Jaasiel the Mesobaite.યાઅસીએલ, ઓબેદ અને મસોબાનો વતની અલીએલ.
