அவனோ தன் எஜமானுடைய மனைவியின் சொல்லுக்கு இணங்காமல், அவளை நோக்கி: இதோ வீட்டிலே என்னிடத்தில் இருக்கிறவைகளில் யாதொன்றைக்குறித்தும் என் ஆண்டவன் விசாரியாமல், தமக்கு உண்டான எல்லாவற்றையும் என் கையில் ஒப்பித்திருக்கிறார்.

அன்றியும் ஒரு ராஜா மற்றொரு ராஜாவோடு போர்செய்யப்போகிறபோது, தன்மேல் இருபதாயிரம் போர்வீரர்களோடு வருகிற அவனைத் தான் பத்தாயிரம் போர்வீரர்களைக்கொண்டு எதிர்க்கக்கூடுமோ கூடாதோ என்று முன்னமே உட்கார்ந்து ஆலோசனை செய்யாமலிருப்பானோ?
