பெண் உன் பின்னே வர மனதில்லாதிருந்தாளேயாகில், அப்பொழுது நீ இந்த என் ஆணைக்கு நீங்கலாயிருப்பாய்; அங்கேமாத்திரம் என் குமாரனை மறுபடியும் அழைத்துக்கொண்டு போகவேண்டாம் என்றான்.

அப்பொழுது அந்த மனுஷர் அவளை நோக்கி: இதோ, நாங்கள் தேசத்துக்குள் பிரவேசிக்கும்போது, நீ இந்த சிவப்புநூல் கயிற்றை எங்களை இறக்கிவிட்ட ஜன்னலிலே கட்டி, உன் தகப்பனையும் உன் தாயையும் உன் சகோதரர்களையும் உன் தகப்பன் குடும்பத்தார் அனைவரையும் உன்னிடத்தில் உன் வீட்டிலே சேர்த்துக்கொள்.

அவள் செய்த பொருத்தனைகளையும், அவள் செய்யும்படி தன் ஆத்துமாவை நிபந்தனைக்குட்படுத்தின நிபந்தனையையும் அவளுடைய தகப்பன் கேட்கிற நாளிலே அவன் வேண்டாம் என்று தடுத்தால், அது நிறைவேறவேண்டியதில்லை; அவளுடைய தகப்பன் வேண்டாம் என்று தடுத்தபடியால், கர்த்தர் அதை அவளுக்கு மன்னிப்பார்.

அவளுடைய புருஷன் அதைக் கேட்கிற நாளில் அவன் வேண்டாம் என்று தடுத்து, அவள் செய்த பொருத்தனையும் அவள் தன் ஆத்துமாவை நிபந்தனைக்குட்படுத்திக்கொண்ட நிபந்தனையும் செல்லாதபடி செய்தானேயானால், அப்பொழுது கர்த்தர் அதை அவளுக்கு மன்னிப்பார்.

நீ என் தேசத்துக்கும் என் இனத்தாரிடத்துக்கும் போய், என் குமாரனாகிய ஈசாக்குக்குப் பெண்கொள்வேன் என்று, வானத்துக்குத் தேவனும் பூமிக்குத் தேவனுமாகிய கர்த்தர்பேரில் எனக்கு ஆணையிட்டுக்கொடுக்கும்படிக்கு, நீ உன் கையை என் தொடையின் கீழ் வை என்றான்.

கடுங்கோபம் நம்மேல் வராதபடிக்கு, நாம் அவர்களுக்கு இட்ட ஆணையினிமித்தம் நாம் அவர்களை உயிரோடே வைத்து, அவர்களுக்கு ஒன்று செய்வோம்.

சத்தியத்தையும் அறிவீர்கள், சத்தியம் உங்களை விடுதலையாக்கும் என்றார்.

அதற்கு அவன்: சகோதரரே, பிதாக்களே, கேளுங்கள். நம்முடைய பிதாவாகிய ஆபிரகாம் காரானூரிலே குடியிருக்கிறதற்கு முன்னமே மெசொப்பொத்தாமியா நாட்டிலே இருக்கும்போது மகிமையின் தேவன் அவனுக்குத் தரிசனமாகி:
