அந்தப் புருஷன் என்னை நோக்கி: மனுபுத்திரனே, நீ கண்ணாரப்பார்த்து, காதாரக் கேட்டு, நான் உனக்குக் காண்பிப்பதெல்லாவற்றின் மேலும் உன் மனதை வை; நான் உனக்கு அவைகளைக் காண்பிக்கும்படி நீ இங்கே கொண்டுவரப்பட்டாய்; நீ காண்பதையெல்லாம் இஸ்ரவேல் வம்சத்தாருக்குத் தெரிவி என்றார்.

அந்த மனிதன் என்னை நோக்கி: மனிதகுமாரனே, நீ கண்ணாரப்பார்த்து, காதாரக்கேட்டு, நான் உனக்குக் காண்பிப்பதெல்லாவற்றின்மேலும் உன்னுடைய மனதை வை; நான் உனக்கு அவைகளைக் காண்பிப்பதற்காக நீ இங்கே கொண்டுவரப்பட்டாய்; நீ காண்பதையெல்லாம் இஸ்ரவேல் மக்களுக்குத் தெரிவி என்றார்.

அம்மனிதன் என்னிடம் சொன்னான், “மனுபுத்திரனே, உன் கண்களையும், காதுகளையும் பயன்படுத்து. இவற்றைப் பார், என்னைக் கவனி! நான் காட்டுகிற எல்லாவற்றிலும் உன் கவனத்தைச் செலுத்து. ஏனென்றால், நீ கொண்டுவரப்பட்டாய். எனவே நான் உனக்கு இவற்றைக் காட்டுகிறேன். நீ பார்த்தவற்றையெல்லாம் பற்றி இஸ்ரவேல் வம்சத்தாரிடம் கூறவேண்டும்.”

அந்த மனிதர் என்னை நோக்கி, “மானிடா! உன் கண்களால் பார், அனைத்தையும் உன் இதயத்தில் பதியவை. ஏனெனில், இவற்றைப் பார்க்கும்படியே நீ இங்குக் கூட்டி வரப்பட்டாய். நீ காணும் யாவற்றையும் இஸ்ரயேல் வீட்டாரக்குத் தெரிவி” என்றார்.

Anthap purushan ennai Nnokki: manupuththiranae, nee kannnnaarappaarththu, kaathaarak kaettu, naan unakkuk kaannpippathellaavattin maelum un manathai vai; naan unakku avaikalaik kaannpikkumpati nee ingae konnduvarappattay; nee kaannpathaiyellaam Israel vamsaththaarukkuth therivi entar.

with thine eyes, בְעֵינֶיךָ֩ ʿayin ah-YEEN
with thine ears, וּבְאָזְנֶ֨יךָ ʾōzen oh-ZEN
and hear שְּׁמָ֜ע šāmaʿ sha-MA
and set וְשִׂ֣ים śûm soom
thine heart לִבְּךָ֗ lēb lave
upon all לְכֹ֤ל kōl kole
that אֲשֶׁר ʾăšer uh-SHER
I אֲנִי֙ ʾănî uh-NEE
shall shew מַרְאֶ֣ה rāʾâ ra-AH
אוֹתָ֔ךְ ʾēt ate
thee; for כִּ֛י kî kee
to the intent that לְמַ֥עַן maʿan ma-AN
I might shew הַרְאוֹתְכָ֖ה rāʾâ ra-AH
unto thee thou brought הֻבָ֣אתָה bôʾ boh
hither: הֵ֑נָּה hēnnâ hay-NA
declare הַגֵּ֛ד nāgad na-ɡAHD
אֶת ʾēt ate
all כָּל kōl kole
that אֲשֶׁר ʾăšer uh-SHER
thou אַתָּ֥ה ʾattâ ah-TA
seest רֹאֶ֖ה rāʾâ ra-AH
to the house לְבֵ֥ית bayit ba-YEET
