7 கர்த்தராகிய ஆண்டவர் சொல்லுகிறது என்னவென்றால்: இதோ நான் ராஜாதிராஜாவாகிய நேபுகாத்நேச்சார் என்னும் பாபிலோன் ராஜாவை வடக்கேயிருந்து குதிரைகளோடும் இரதங்களோடும் குதிரைவீரரோடும் கூட்டத்தாரோடும் திரளான ஜனத்தோடும் தீருவுக்கு விரோதமாக வரப்பண்ணுவேன். For thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will bring upon Tyrus Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon, a king of kings, from the north, with horses, and with chariots, and with horsemen, and companies, and much people.

8 அவன் வெளியில் இருக்கிற உன் குமாரத்திகளைப் பட்டயத்தினால்கொன்று, உனக்கு விரோதமாகக் கொத்தளங்களைக் கட்டி உனக்கு விரோதமாக அணைபோட்டு, உனக்கு விரோதமாகக் கேடயங்களை எடுத்து, He shall slay with the sword thy daughters in the field: and he shall make a fort against thee, and cast a mount against thee, and lift up the buckler against thee.

9 உன் மதில்களை இடிக்கிற யந்திரங்களை எதிரே வைத்து, தன் கட்டைப்பாரைகளால் உன் கொத்தளங்களை இடித்துப்போடுவான். And he shall set engines of war against thy walls, and with his axes he shall break down thy towers.

10 அவன் குதிரைகளின் ஏராளத்தினால் தூள் எழும்பி உன்னை மூடும்; இடித்துத் திறப்பாக்கப்பட்ட பட்டணத்தில் பிரவேசிக்கும் வண்ணமாக, அவன் உன் வாசல்களுக்குள் பிரவேசிக்கையில், குதிரைவீரரும் வண்டில் இரதங்களும் இரைகிற சத்தத்திலே என் மதில்கள் அதிரும். By reason of the abundance of his horses their dust shall cover thee: thy walls shall shake at the noise of the horsemen, and of the wheels, and of the chariots, when he shall enter into thy gates, as men enter into a city wherein is made a breach.

11 தன் குதிரைகளின் குளம்புகளினால் உன் வீதிகளையெல்லாம் மிதிப்பான்; உன் ஜனத்தைப் பட்டயத்தினால் கொன்றுபோடுவான்; உன் பலமான தூண்கள் தரையில் விழுந்துபோகும். With the hoofs of his horses shall he tread down all thy streets: he shall slay thy people by the sword, and thy strong garrisons shall go down to the ground.

12 அவர்கள் உன் ஆஸ்தியைக் கொள்ளையிட்டு, உன் சரக்குகளைச் சூறையாடி, உன் மதில்களை இடித்து, உனக்கு விருப்பமான வீடுகளை அழித்து, உன் கல்லுகளையும் உன் மரங்களையும் உன் மண்ணையும் கடலின் நடுவிலே போட்டுவிடுவார்கள். And they shall make a spoil of thy riches, and make a prey of thy merchandise: and they shall break down thy walls, and destroy thy pleasant houses: and they shall lay thy stones and thy timber and thy dust in the midst of the water.

13 உன் பாட்டுகளின் சத்தத்தை ஓயப்பண்ணுவேன்; உன் சுரமண்டலங்களின் சத்தம் இனிக் கேட்கப்படுவதில்லை. And I will cause the noise of thy songs to cease; and the sound of thy harps shall be no more heard.

14 உன்னை வெறும் பாறையாக்கிவிடுவேன்; நீ வலைகளை விரிக்கிற ஸ்தலமாயிருப்பாய்; இனிக் கட்டப்படாய்; கர்த்தராகிய நான் இதைச் சொன்னேன் என்று கர்த்தராகிய ஆண்டவர் உரைக்கிறார். And I will make thee like the top of a rock: thou shalt be a place to spread nets upon; thou shalt be built no more: for I the LORD have spoken it, saith the Lord GOD.

7 Karththaraakiya aanndavar sollukirathu ennavental: itho naan raajaathiraajaavaakiya naepukaathnaechchaாr ennum paapilon raajaavai vadakkaeyirunthu kuthiraikalodum irathangalodum kuthiraiveerarodum koottaththaarodum thiralaana janaththodum theeruvukku virothamaaka varappannnuvaen. 8 Avan veliyil irukkira un kumaaraththikalaip pattayaththinaalkontu, unakku virothamaakak koththalangalaik katti unakku virothamaaka annaipottu, unakku virothamaakak kaedayangalai eduththu, He shall slay with the sword thy daughters in the field: and he shall make a fort against thee, and cast a mount against thee, and lift up the buckler against thee.

9 Un mathilkalai itikkira yanthirangalai ethirae vaiththu, than kattaைppaaraikalaal un koththalangalai itiththuppoduvaan. And he shall set engines of war against thy walls, and with his axes he shall break down thy towers.

10 Avan kuthiraikalin aeraalaththinaal thool elumpi unnai moodum; itiththuth thirappaakkappatta pattanaththil piravaesikkum vannnamaaka, avan un vaasalkalukkul piravaesikkaiyil, kuthiraiveerarum vanntil irathangalum iraikira saththaththilae en mathilkal athirum. 11 Than kuthiraikalin kulampukalinaal un veethikalaiyellaam mithippaan; un janaththaip pattayaththinaal kontupoduvaan; un palamaana thoonnkal tharaiyil vilunthupokum. 12 Avarkal un aasthiyaik kollaiyittu, un sarakkukalaich sooraiyaati, un mathilkalai itiththu, unakku viruppamaana veedukalai aliththu, un kallukalaiyum un marangalaiyum un mannnnaiyum kadalin naduvilae pottuviduvaarkal. 13 Un paattukalin saththaththai oyappannnuvaen; un suramanndalangalin saththam inik kaetkappaduvathillai. And I will cause the noise of thy songs to cease; and the sound of thy harps shall be no more heard.

14 Unnai veraுm paaraiyaakkividuvaen; nee valaikalai virikkira sthalamaayiruppaay; inik kattappadaay; karththaraakiya naan ithaich sonnaen entu karththaraakiya aanndavar uraikkiraar. And I will make thee like the top of a rock: thou shalt be a place to spread nets upon; thou shalt be built no more: for I the LORD have spoken it, saith the Lord GOD.
