மனுபுத்திரனே; நீ அவர்களுக்குப் பயப்படவேண்டாம்; அவர்கள் வார்த்தைகளுக்கும் அஞ்சவேண்டாம்; நெரிஞ்சில்களுக்குள்ளும் முள்ளுகளுக்குள்ளும் நீ தங்கியிருந்தாலும், நீ அவர்கள் வார்த்தைகளுக்குப் பயப்படாமலும் அவர்கள் முகத்துக்குக் கலங்காமலுமிரு; அவர்கள் கலகவீட்டார்.

“மனுபுத்திரனே, அந்த ஜனங்களுக்குப் பயப்படாதே, அவர்கள் சொல்கின்றவற்றுக்கும் பயப்படாதே. இது உண்மை. அவர்கள் உனக்கு எதிராகத் திரும்பி உன்னைக் காயப்படுத்த விரும்புவார்கள். அவர்கள் முட்களைப் போன்றிருப்பார்கள். நீ தேள்களோடு இருப்பதைப் போன்று நினைப்பாய். ஆனால் அவர்கள் சொல்கின்றவற்றுக்கு நீ பயப்படாதே. அவர்கள் கலகக்காரர்கள். அவர்களுக்குப் பயப்படாதே!
