அவன் லேவியராகிய ஆசாரியரிடத்திலிருக்கிற நியாயப்பிரமாண நூலைப் பார்த்து, தனக்காக ஒரு பிரதியை எழுதி, தன்னிடத்தில் வைத்துக்கொண்டு, தன் ஜீவனுள்ள நாளெல்லாம் அதை வாசிக்கக்கடவன்; இப்படிச் செய்வதினால், தானும் தன் குமாரரும் இஸ்ரவேலின் நடுவே தங்கள் ராஜ்யத்திலே நீடித்து வாழுவார்கள்.

அரசன் தன் சகோதரர்களாகிய ஜனங்களைவிட தான் மேன்மையானவன் என்று எண்ணிவிடக் கூடாது. மேலும் அவன் ஒரு போதும் இந்த சட்டங்களிலிருந்து விலகிவிடக்கூடாது. ஆனால் அவன் இவற்றைச் சரியானபடி முழுமையாகப் பின்பற்றினால், பின் அந்த அரசனும் அவன் சந்ததியினரும் நீண்ட காலம் இஸ்ரவேல் நாட்டை ஆளலாம்.

Avan laeviyaraakiya aasaariyaridaththilirukkira niyaayappiramaana noolaip paarththu, thanakkaaka oru pirathiyai eluthi, thannidaththil vaiththukkonndu, than jeevanulla naalellaam athai vaasikkakkadavan; ippatich seyvathinaal, thaanum than kumaararum isravaelin naduvae thangal raajyaththilae neetiththu vaaluvaarkal.
