அத்தேசத்துக் கனிகளில் சிலவற்றைத் தங்கள் கையில் எடுத்துக்கொண்டு நம்மிடத்தில் வந்து, நம்முடைய தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் நமக்குக் கொடுக்கும் தேசம் நல்ல தேசம் என்று நம்மிடத்தில் சொன்னார்கள்.

அந்த தேசத்தின் பழங்களில் சிலவற்றைத் தங்கள் கைகளில் எடுத்துக்கொண்டு நம்மிடத்தில் வந்து, நம்முடைய தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் நமக்குக் கொடுக்கும் தேசம் நல்ல தேசம் என்று நம்மிடத்தில் சொன்னார்கள்.

அங்கிருந்து சிலவகைப் பழங்களை நம்மிடம் கொண்டுவந்து கொடுத்து அந்நிலப் பகுதியைப் பற்றி நமக்குக் கூறினார்கள். அவர்கள், ‘நமது தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர், நமக்கு நல்லதொரு நாட்டினைக் கொடுக்கிறார்!’ என்று சொன்னார்கள்.

And they took	וַיִּקְח֤וּ	lāqaḥ	la-KAHK
in their hands,	בְיָדָם֙	yād	yahd
of the fruit	מִפְּרִ֣י	pĕrî	peh-REE
of the land	הָאָ֔רֶץ	ʾereṣ	eh-RETS
and brought down	וַיּוֹרִ֖דוּ	yārad	ya-RAHD
unto	אֵלֵ֑ינוּ	ʾēl	ale
us, and brought	וַיָּשִׁ֨בוּ	šûb	shoov
	אֹתָ֤נוּ	ʾēt	ate
us word	דָבָר֙	dābār	da-VAHR
