அதற்குப்பின்பு, இராத்தரிசனங்களில் நாலாம் மிருகத்தைக் கண்டேன்; அது கெடியும் பயங்கரமும் மகா பலத்ததுமாயிருந்தது; அதற்குப் பெரிய இருப்புப்பற்கள் இருந்தது; அது நொறுக்கிப் பட்சித்து, மீதியானதைத் தன் கால்களால் மிதித்துப்போட்டது; அது தனக்கு முன்னிருந்த எல்லா மிருகங்களைப்பார்க்கிலும் வேற்றுருவமாயிருந்தது, அதற்குப் பத்துக் கொம்புகள் இருந்தது.

“அதன் பிறகு இரவில் தரிசனத்தில் என் முன்பு நான்காவது மிருகத்தைக் கண்டேன். இந்த மிருகம் மிக பயங்கரமும், பலமும் உடையதாக இருந்தது. இது மிகப் பல முடையதாகத் தோன்றியது. இதற்கு பெரிய இரும்புப் பற்கள் இருந்தன. இந்த மிருகம் தன் இரையைப் பிடித்து நொறுக்கி தின்றது. இந்த மிருகம் மிச்சமுள்ளவற்றைக் காலால் மிதித்து துவைத்தது. இந்த நாலாவது மிருகம் நான் பார்த்த மற்ற மிருகங்களைவிட வேறுபட்டதாக இருந்தது. இந்த மிருகத்திற்குப் பத்துக் கொம்புகள் இருந்தன.
