Psalm 7 in Tamil

1 என் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தாவே, உம்மை நம்பியிருக்கிறேன்; என்னைத் துன்பப்படுத்துகிறவர்கள் எல்லாருக்கும் என்னை விலக்கி இரட்சியும். O LORD my God, in thee do I put my trust: save me from all them that persecute me, and deliver me:

2 சத்துரு சிங்கம்போல் என் ஆத்துமாவைப் பிடித்துக்கொண்டுபோய், விடுவிக்கிறவன் இல்லாமையால். அதைப் பீறாதபடிக்கு என்னைத் தப்புவியும். Lest he tear my soul like a lion, rending it in pieces, while there is none to deliver.

3 என் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தாவே, நான் இதைச் செய்ததும், என் கைகளில் நியாயக்கேடிருக்கிறதும், O LORD my God, If I have done this; if there be iniquity in my hands;

4 என்னோடே சமாதானமாயிருந்தவனுக்கு நான் தீமைசெய்ததும், காரணமில்லாமல் எனக்குச் சத்துருவானவனை நான் கொள்ளையிட்டதும் உண்டானால், If I have rewarded evil unto him that was at peace with me; (yea, I have delivered him that without cause is mine enemy:)

5 பகைஞன் என் ஆத்துமாவைத் தொடர்ந்துபிடித்து, என் பிராணனைத் தரையிலே தள்ளி மிதித்து, என் மகிமையைத் தூளிலே தாழ்த்தக்கடவன்.(சேலா.) Let the enemy persecute my soul, and take it; yea, let him tread down my life upon the earth, and lay mine honour in the dust. Selah.

6 கர்த்தாவே, நீர் உம்முடைய கோபத்தில் எழுந்திருந்து, என் சத்துருக்களுடைய மூர்க்கங்களினிமித்தம் உம்மை உயர்த்தி, எனக்காக விழித்துக்கொள்ளும்; நியாயத்தீர்ப்பை நியமித்திருக்கிறீரே. Arise, O LORD, in thine anger, lift up thyself because of the rage of mine enemies: and awake for me to the judgment that thou hast commanded.

7 ஜனக்கூட்டம் உம்மைச் சூழ்ந்துகொள்ளும்; அவர்களுக்காகத் திரும்பவும் உன்னதத்திற்கு எழுந்தருளும். So shall the congregation of the people compass thee about: for their sakes therefore return thou on high.

8 கர்த்தர் ஜனங்களுக்கு நியாயஞ்செய்வார்; கர்த்தாவே, என் நீதியின்படியும் என்னிலுள்ள உண்மையின்படியும் எனக்கு நியாயஞ்செய்யும். The LORD shall judge the people: judge me, O LORD, according to my righteousness, and according to mine integrity that is in me.

9 துன்மார்க்கனுடைய பொல்லாங்கை ஒழியப்பண்ணும்; நீதிமானை ஸ்திரப்படுத்துவீராக; நீதியுள்ளவராயிருக்கிற தேவரீர் இருதயங்களையும் உள்ளிந்திரியங்களையும் சோதித்தறிகிறவர். Oh let the wickedness of the wicked come to an end; but establish the just: for the righteous God trieth the hearts and reins.

10 செம்மையான இருதயமுள்ளவர்களை இரட்சிக்கிற தேவனிடத்தில் என்கேடகம் இருக்கிறது. My defence is of God, which saveth the upright in heart.

11 தேவன் நீதியுள்ள நியாயாதிபதி; அவர் நாள்தோறும் பாவியின்மேல் சினங்கொள்ளுகிற தேவன். God judgeth the righteous, and God is angry with the wicked every day.

12 அவன் மனந்திரும்பாவிட்டால் அவர் தம்முடைய பட்டயத்தைக் கருக்காக்குவார்; அவர் தம்முடைய வில்லை நாணேற்றி, அதை ஆயத்தப்படுத்தியிருக்கிறார். If he turn not, he will whet his sword; he hath bent his bow, and made it ready.

13 அவனுக்கு மரணாயுதங்களை ஆயத்தம்பண்ணினார்; தம்முடைய அம்புகளை அக்கினி அம்புகளாக்கினார். He hath also prepared for him the instruments of death; he ordaineth his arrows against the persecutors.

14 இதோ, அவன் அக்கிரமத்தைப் பெறக் கர்ப்பவேதனைப்படுகிறான்; தீவினையைக் கர்ப்பந்தரித்து, பொய்யைப்பெறுகிறான். Behold, he travaileth with iniquity, and hath conceived mischief, and brought forth falsehood.

15 குழியை வெட்டி, அதை ஆழமாக்கினான்; தான் வெட்டின குழியில் தானே விழுந்தான். He made a pit, and digged it, and is fallen into the ditch which he made.

16 அவன் தீவினை அவன் சிரசின்மேல் திரும்பும், அவன் கொடுமை அவன் உச்சந்தலையின்மேல் இறங்கும். His mischief shall return upon his own head, and his violent dealing shall come down upon his own pate.

17 நான் கர்த்தரை அவருடைய நீதியின்படி துதித்து, உன்னதமான கர்த்தருடைய நாமத்தைக் கீர்த்தனம் பண்ணுவேன். I will praise the LORD according to his righteousness: and will sing praise to the name of the LORD most high.

1 En thaevanaakiya karththaavae, ummai nampiyirukkiraேn; ennaith thunpappaduththukiravarkal ellaarukkum ennai vilakki iratchiyum. O LORD my God, in thee do I put my trust: save me from all them that persecute me, and deliver me:

2 Saththuru singampol en aaththumaavaip pitiththukkonndupoy, viduvikkiravan illaamaiyaal. Athaip peeraathapatikku ennaith thappuviyum. Lest he tear my soul like a lion, rending it in pieces, while there is none to deliver.

3 En thaevanaakiya karththaavae, naan ithaich seythathum, en kaikalil niyaayakkaetirukkirathum, O LORD my God, If I have done this; if there be iniquity in my hands;

4 Ennotae samaathaanamaayirunthavanukku naan theemaiseythathum, kaaranamillaamal enakkuch saththuruvaanavanai naan kollaiyittathum unndaanaal, If I have rewarded evil unto him that was at peace with me; (yea, I have delivered him that without cause is mine enemy:)

5 Pakainjan en aaththumaavaith thodarnthupitiththu, en piraananaith tharaiyilae thalli mithiththu, en makimaiyaith thoolilae thaalththakkadavan.(selaa.) Let the enemy persecute my soul, and take it; yea, let him tread down my life upon the earth, and lay mine honour in the dust. Selah.

6 Karththaavae, neer ummutaiya kopaththil elunthirunthu, en saththurukkalutaiya moorkkangalinimiththam ummai uyarththi, enakkaaka viliththukkollum; niyaayaththeerppai niyamiththirukkireerae. Arise, O LORD, in thine anger, lift up thyself because of the rage of mine enemies: and awake for me to the judgment that thou hast commanded.

7 Janakkoottam ummaich soolnthukollum; avarkalukkaakath thirumpavum unnathaththirku eluntharulum. So shall the congregation of the people compass thee about: for their sakes therefore return thou on high.

8 Karththar janangalukku niyaayanjaெyvaar; karththaavae, en neethiyinpatiyum ennilulla unnmaiyinpatiyum enakku niyaayanjaெyyum. The LORD shall judge the people: judge me, O LORD, according to my righteousness, and according to mine integrity that is in me.

9 Thunmaarkkanutaiya pollaangai oliyappannnum; neethimaanai sthirappaduththuveeraaka; neethiyullavaraayirukkira thaevareer iruthayangalaiyum ullinthiriyangalaiyum sothiththarikiravar. Oh let the wickedness of the wicked come to an end; but establish the just: for the righteous God trieth the hearts and reins.

10 Semmaiyaana iruthayamullavarkalai iratchikkira thaevanidaththil enkaedakam irukkirathu. My defence is of God, which saveth the upright in heart.

11 Dhevan neethiyulla niyaayaathipathi; avar naalthoraுm paaviyinmael sinangaொllukira Dhevan. God judgeth the righteous, and God is angry with the wicked every day.

12 Avan mananthirumpaavittal avar thammutaiya pattayaththaik karukkaakkuvaar; avar thammutaiya villai naanneetti, athai aayaththappaduththiyirukkiraar. If he turn not, he will whet his sword; he hath bent his bow, and made it ready.

13 Avanukku marannaayuthangalai aayaththampannnninaar; thammutaiya ampukalai akkini ampukalaakkinaar. He hath also prepared for him the instruments of death; he ordaineth his arrows against the persecutors.

14 Itho, avan akkiramaththaip perak karppavaethanaippadukiraan; theevinaiyaik karppanthariththu, poyyaipperaுkiraan. Behold, he travaileth with iniquity, and hath conceived mischief, and brought forth falsehood.

15 Kuliyai vetti, athai aalamaakkinaan; thaan vettina kuliyil thaanae vilunthaan. He made a pit, and digged it, and is fallen into the ditch which he made.

16 Avan theevinai avan sirasinmael thirumpum, avan kodumai avan uchchanthalaiyinmael irangum. His mischief shall return upon his own head, and his violent dealing shall come down upon his own pate.

17 Naan karththarai avarutaiya neethiyinpati thuthiththu, unnathamaana karththarutaiya naamaththaik geerththanam pannnuvaen. I will praise the LORD according to his righteousness: and will sing praise to the name of the LORD most high.
