Psalm 24 in Tamil

1 பூமியும் அதின் நிறைவும், உலகமும் அதிலுள்ள குடிகளும் கர்த்தருடையது. The earth is the LORD's, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.

2 அவரே அதைக் கடல்களுக்குமேலாக அஸ்திபாரப்படுத்தி, அதை நதிகளுக்கு மேலாக ஸ்தாபித்தார். For he hath founded it upon the seas, and established it upon the floods.

3 யார் கர்த்தருடைய பர்வதத்திலே ஏறுவான்? யார் அவருடைய பரிசுத்த ஸ்தலத்தில் நிலைத்திருப்பான்? Who shall ascend into the hill of the LORD? or who shall stand in his holy place?

4 கைகளில் சுத்தமுள்ளவனும் இருதயத்தில் மாசில்லாதவனுமாயிருந்து, தன் ஆத்துமாவை மாயைக்கு ஒப்புக்கொடாமலும், கபடாய் ஆணையிடாமலும் இருக்கிறவனே. He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully.

5 அவன் கர்த்தரால் ஆசீர்வாதத்தையும், என் இரட்சிப்பின் தேவனால் நீதியையும் பெறுவான். He shall receive the blessing from the LORD, and righteousness from the God of his salvation.

6 இதுவே அவரைத் தேடி விசாரித்து, அவருடைய சமுகத்தை நாடுகிற யாக்கோபு என்னும் சந்ததி. (சேலா.) This is the generation of them that seek him, that seek thy face, O Jacob. Selah.

7 வாசல்களே உங்கள் தலைகளை உயர்த்துங்கள்; அநாதி கதவுகளே, உயருங்கள்; மகிமையின் ராஜா உட்பிரவேசிப்பார். Lift up your heads, O ye gates; and be ye lift up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in.

8 யார் இந்த மகிமையின் ராஜா? அவர் வல்லமையும் பராக்கிரமமுமுள்ள கர்த்தர்; அவர் யுத்தத்தில் பராக்கிரமமுள்ள கர்த்தராமே. Who is this King of glory? The LORD strong and mighty, the LORD mighty in battle.

9 வாசல்களே உங்கள் தலைகளை உயர்த்துங்கள்; அநாதி கதவுகளே உயருங்கள், மகிமையின் ராஜா உட்பிரவேசிப்பார். Lift up your heads, O ye gates; even lift them up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in.

10 யார் இந்த மகிமையின் ராஜா? அவர் சேனைகளின் கர்த்தரானவர்; அவரே மகிமையின் ராஜா. (சேலா.) Who is this King of glory? The LORD of hosts, he is the King of glory. Selah.

2 Avarae athaik kadalkalukkumaelaaka asthipaarappaduththi, athai nathikalukku maelaaka sthaapiththaar. For he hath founded it upon the seas, and established it upon the floods.

3 Yaar karththarutaiya parvathaththilae aeraுvaan? Yaar avarutaiya Parisuththa sthalaththil nilaiththiruppaan? Who shall ascend into the hill of the LORD? or who shall stand in his holy place?

4 Kaikalil suththamullavanum iruthayaththil maasillaathavanumaayirunthu, than aaththumaavai maayaikku oppukkodaamalum, kapadaay aannaiyidaamalum irukkiravanae. He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully.

5 Avan karththaraal aaseervaathaththaiyum, en iratchippin thaevanaal neethiyaiyum peraுvaan. He shall receive the blessing from the LORD, and righteousness from the God of his salvation.

6 Ithuvae avaraith thaeti visaariththu, avarutaiya samukaththai naadukira yaakkopu ennum santhathi. (selaa.) This is the generation of them that seek him, that seek thy face, O Jacob. Selah.

7 Vaasalkalae ungal thalaikalai uyarththungal; anaathi kathavukalae, uyarungal; makimaiyin raajaa utpiravaesippaar. Lift up your heads, O ye gates; and be ye lift up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in.

8 Yaar intha makimaiyin raajaa? Avar vallamaiyum paraakkiramamumulla Karththar; avar yuththaththil paraakkiramamulla karththaraamae. Who is this King of glory? The LORD strong and mighty, the LORD mighty in battle.

9 Vaasalkalae ungal thalaikalai uyarththungal; anaathi kathavukalae uyarungal, makimaiyin raajaa utpiravaesippaar. Lift up your heads, O ye gates; even lift them up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in.

10 Yaar intha makimaiyin raajaa? Avar senaikalin karththaraanavar; avarae makimaiyin raajaa. (selaa.) Who is this King of glory? The LORD of hosts, he is the King of glory. Selah.
