1கர்த்தரைத் துதித்து, அவருடைய நாமத்தைப் பிரஸ்தாபமாக்குங்கள், அவருடைய செய்கைகளை ஜனங்களுக்குள்ளே பிரசித்தப்படுத்துங்கள்.O give thanks unto the LORD; call upon his name: make known his deeds among the people.
2அவரைப் பாடி அவரைக் கீர்த்தனம்பண்ணுங்கள், அவருடைய அதிசயங்களையெல்லாம் தியானித்துப் பேசுங்கள்.Sing unto him, sing psalms unto him: talk ye of all his wondrous works.
3அவருடைய பரிசுத்த நாமத்தைக் குறித்து மேன்மைபாராட்டுங்கள்; கர்த்தரைத் தேடுகிறவர்களின் இருதயம் மகிழ்வதாக.Glory ye in his holy name: let the heart of them rejoice that seek the LORD.
4கர்த்தரையும் அவர் வல்லமையையும் நாடுங்கள்; அவர் சமுகத்தை நித்தமும் தேடுங்கள்.Seek the LORD, and his strength: seek his face evermore.
5அவருடைய தாசனாகிய ஆபிரகாமின் சந்ததியே! அவரால் தெரிந்துகொள்ளப்பட்டவர்களாகிய யாக்கோபின் புத்திரரே!Remember his marvellous works that he hath done; his wonders, and the judgments of his mouth;
6அவர் செய்த அதிசயங்களையும் அவருடைய அற்புதங்களையும், அவர் வாக்கின் நியாயத்தீர்ப்புகளையும் நினைவுகூருங்கள்.O ye seed of Abraham his servant, ye children of Jacob his chosen.
7அவரே நம்முடைய தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர், அவருடைய நியாயத்தீர்ப்புகள் பூமியெங்கும் விளங்கும்.He is the LORD our God: his judgments are in all the earth.
8ஆயிரந்தலைமுறைக்கென்று அவர் கட்டளையிட்ட வாக்கையும், ஆபிரகாமோடே அவர் பண்ணின உடன்படிக்கையையும்,He hath remembered his covenant for ever, the word which he commanded to a thousand generations.
9அவர் ஈசாக்குக்கு இட்ட ஆணையையும் என்றென்றைக்கும் நினைத்திருக்கிறார்.Which covenant he made with Abraham, and his oath unto Isaac;
10அதை யாக்கோபுக்குப் பிரமாணமாகவும், இஸ்ரவேலுக்கு நித்திய உடன்படிக்கையாகவும் உறுதிப்படுத்தி:And confirmed the same unto Jacob for a law, and to Israel for an everlasting covenant:
11உங்கள் சுதந்தரபாகமான கானான் தேசத்தை உனக்குத் தருவேன் என்றார்.Saying, Unto thee will I give the land of Canaan, the lot of your inheritance:
12அக்காலத்தில் அவர்கள் கொஞ்சத் தொகைக்குட்பட்ட சொற்ப ஜனங்களும் பரதேசிகளுமாயிருந்தார்கள்.When they were but a few men in number; yea, very few, and strangers in it.
13அவர்கள் ஒரு ஜனத்தைவிட்டு மறு ஜனத்தண்டைக்கும், ஒரு ராஜ்யத்தைவிட்டு மறு தேசத்தாரண்டைக்கும் போனார்கள்.When they went from one nation to another, from one kingdom to another people;
14அவர்களை ஒடுக்கும்படி ஒருவருக்கும் இடங்கொடாமல், அவர்கள்நிமித்தம் ராஜாக்களைக் கடிந்து கொண்டு:He suffered no man to do them wrong: yea, he reproved kings for their sakes;
15நான் அபிஷேகம்பண்ணினவர்களை நீங்கள் தொடாமலும், என்னுடைய ராஜாக்களுக்குத் தீங்கு செய்யாமலும் இருங்கள் என்றார்.Saying, Touch not mine anointed, and do my prophets no harm.
16அவர் தேசத்திலே பஞ்சத்தை வருவித்து, ஆகாரமென்னும் ஆதரவு கோலை முற்றிலும் முறித்தார்.Moreover he called for a famine upon the land: he brake the whole staff of bread.
17அவர்களுக்கு முன்னாலே ஒரு புருஷனை அனுப்பினார்; யோசேப்பு சிறையாக விற்கப்பட்டான்.He sent a man before them, even Joseph, who was sold for a servant:
18அவன் கால்களை விலங்குபோட்டு ஒடுக்கினார்கள், அவன் பிராணன் இரும்பில் அடைபட்டிருந்தது.Whose feet they hurt with fetters: he was laid in iron:
19கர்த்தர் சொன்ன வார்த்தை நிறைவேறுமளவும் அவருடைய வசனம் அவனைப் புடமிட்டது.Until the time that his word came: the word of the LORD tried him.
20ராஜா ஆள் அனுப்பி, அவனைக் கட்டவிழ்க்கச்சொன்னான்; ஜனங்களின் அதிபதி அவனை விடுதலைபண்ணினான்.The king sent and loosed him; even the ruler of the people, and let him go free.
21தன் பிரபுக்களை அவன் மனதின்படி கட்டவும், தன் மூப்பர்களை ஞானிகளாக்கவும்,He made him lord of his house, and ruler of all his substance:
22அவனைத் தன் வீட்டுக்கு ஆண்டவனும், தன் ஆஸ்திக்கெல்லாம் அதிபதியுமாக்கினான்.To bind his princes at his pleasure; and teach his senators wisdom.
23அப்பொழுது இஸ்ரவேல் எகிப்திற்கு வந்தான்; யாக்கோபு காமின் தேசத்திலே பரதேசியாயிருந்தான்.Israel also came into Egypt; and Jacob sojourned in the land of Ham.
24அவர் தம்முடைய ஜனங்களை மிகவும் பலுகப்பண்ணி, அவர்களுடைய சத்துருக்களைப்பார்க்கிலும் அவர்களைப் பலவான்களாக்கினார்.And he increased his people greatly; and made them stronger than their enemies.
25தம்முடைய ஜனங்களைப் பகைக்கவும், தம்முடைய ஊழியக்காரரை வஞ்சனையாய் நடத்தவும், அவர்களுடைய இருதயத்தை மாற்றினார்.He turned their heart to hate his people, to deal subtilly with his servants.
26தம்முடைய தாசனாகிய மோசேயையும் தாம் தெரிந்துகொண்ட ஆரோனையும் அனுப்பினார்.He sent Moses his servant; and Aaron whom he had chosen.
27இவர்கள் அவர்களுக்குள் அவருடைய அடையாளங்களையும், காமின் தேசத்திலே அற்புதங்களையும் செய்தார்கள்.They shewed his signs among them, and wonders in the land of Ham.
28அவர் இருளை அனுப்பி அந்தகாரத்தை உண்டாக்கினார்; அவருடைய வார்த்தைகளை எதிர்ப்பாரில்லை.He sent darkness, and made it dark; and they rebelled not against his word.
29அவர்களுடைய தண்ணீர்களை இரத்தமாக மாற்றி, அவர்களுடைய மச்சங்களைச் சாகப்பண்ணினார்.He turned their waters into blood, and slew their fish.

31அவர் கட்டளையிட, அவர்களுடைய எல்லைகளில் எங்கும் வண்டுகளும் பேன்களும் வந்தது.He spake, and there came divers sorts of flies, and lice in all their coasts.
32அவர்களுடைய மழைகளைக் கல்மழையாக்கி, அவர்களுடைய தேசத்திலே ஜுவாலிக்கிற அக்கினியை வரப்பண்ணினார்.He gave them hail for rain, and flaming fire in their land.
33அவர்களுடைய திராட்சச் செடிகளையும் அத்திமரங்களையும் அழித்து, அவர்களுடைய எல்லைகளிலுள்ள மரங்களையும் முறித்தார்.He smote their vines also and their fig trees; and brake the trees of their coasts.
34அவர் கட்டளையிட, எண்ணிமுடியாத வெட்டுக்கிளிகளும் பச்சைப்புழுக்களும் வந்து,He spake, and the locusts came, and caterpillers, and that without number,
35அவர்களுடைய தேசத்திலுள்ள சகல பூண்டுகளையும் அரித்து, அவர்களுடைய நிலத்தின் கனியைத் தின்றுபோட்டது.And did eat up all the herbs in their land, and devoured the fruit of their ground.
36அவர்களுடைய தேசத்திலே தலைச்சன்கள் அனைத்தையும், அவர்களுடைய பெலனில் முதற்பெலனான யாவரையும் சங்கரித்தார்.He smote also all the firstborn in their land, the chief of all their strength.
37அப்பொழுது அவர்களை வெள்ளியோடும் பொன்னோடும் புறப்படப்பண்ணினார்; அவர்கள் கோத்திரங்களில் பலவீனப்பட்டவன் ஒருவனும் இருந்ததில்லை.He brought them forth also with silver and gold: and there was not one feeble person among their tribes.
38எகிப்தியர் அவர்களுக்குப் பயந்ததினால் அவர்கள் புறப்பட்டபோது மகிழ்ந்தார்கள்.Egypt was glad when they departed: for the fear of them fell upon them.
39அவர் மேகத்தை மறைவுக்காக விரித்து, இரவை வெளிச்சமாக்குகிறதற்காக அக்கினியையும் தந்தார்.He spread a cloud for a covering; and fire to give light in the night.
40கேட்டார்கள், அவர் காடைகளை வரப்பண்ணினார்; வான அப்பத்தினாலும் அவர்களைத் திருப்தியாக்கினார்.The people asked, and he brought quails, and satisfied them with the bread of heaven.
41கன்மலையைத் திறந்தார், தண்ணீர்கள் புறப்பட்டு வறண்ட வெளிகளில் ஆறாய் ஓடிற்று.He opened the rock, and the waters gushed out; they ran in the dry places like a river.
42அவர் தம்முடைய பரிசுத்த வாக்குத்தத்தத்தையும், தம்முடைய தாசனாகிய ஆபிரகாமையும் நினைத்து,For he remembered his holy promise, and Abraham his servant.
43தம்முடைய ஜனத்தைக் களிப்போடும் தாம் தெரிந்துகொண்டவர்களைக் கெம்பீர சத்தத்தோடும் புறப்படப்பண்ணினார்.And he brought forth his people with joy, and his chosen with gladness:
44தமது கட்டளைகளைக் காத்து நடக்கும்படிக்கும், தமது நியாயப்பிரமாணங்களைக் கைக்கொள்ளும்படிக்கும்,And gave them the lands of the heathen: and they inherited the labour of the people;
45அவர்களுக்குப் புறஜாதிகளுடைய தேசங்களைக் கொடுத்தார்; அந்நிய ஜனங்களுடைய பிரயாசத்தின்பலனைச் சுதந்தரித்துக்கொண்டார்கள். அல்லேலுூயா.That they might observe his statutes, and keep his laws. Praise ye the LORD.
