அறுப்புக்காலத்தில் நான் அறுக்கிறவர்களை நோக்கி: முதலாவது களைகளைப்பிடுங்கி, அவைகளைச் சுட்டெரிக்கிறதற்கு கட்டுகளாகக் கட்டுங்கள்; கோதுமையையோ என் களஞ்சியத்தில் சேர்த்துவையுங்கள் என்பேன் என்று சொன்னான் என்றார்.

அறுப்புக்காலத்தில் நான் அறுக்கிறவர்களைப் பார்த்து: முதலாவது, களைகளைப் பிடுங்கி, அவைகளைச் சுட்டெரிக்கிறதற்குக் கட்டுகளாகக் கட்டுங்கள்; கோதுமையையோ என் களஞ்சியத்தில் சேர்த்துவையுங்கள் என்பேன் என்று சொன்னான் என்றார்.

களைகளும் கோதுமையும் அறுவடைக் காலம்வரையிலும் ஒன்றாக வளரட்டும். அறுவடையின்பொழுது அறுவடை செய்பவர்களிடம் நான், முதலில் களைகளைத் தீயிலிடுவதற்காகச் சேர்த்துக் கட்டுங்கள், பின்னர் கோதுமையைச் சேகரித்து என் களஞ்சியத்திற்குக் கொண்டு வாருங்கள் என்று சொல்வேன்’ எனப் பதில் சொன்னான்” என்று இயேசு கூறினார்.
