Job 33 in Tamil

1 யோபே, என் நியாயங்களைக்கேளும்; என் வார்த்தைகளுக்கெல்லாம் செவிகொடும். Wherefore, Job, I pray thee, hear my speeches, and hearken to all my words.

2 இதோ, என் வாயை இப்போது திறந்தேன், என் வாயிலிருக்கிற என் நாவானது பேசும். Behold, now I have opened my mouth, my tongue hath spoken in my mouth.

3 என் வார்த்தைகள் என் இருதயத்தின் உண்மைக்கு ஒத்திருக்கும்; நான் அறிந்ததை என் உதடுகள் சுத்தமாய் வசனிக்கும். My words shall be of the uprightness of my heart: and my lips shall utter knowledge clearly.

4 தேவனுடைய ஆவியானவர் என்னை உண்டாக்கினார்; சர்வவல்லவருடைய சுவாசம் எனக்கு உயிர்கொடுத்தது. The spirit of God hath made me, and the breath of the Almighty hath given me life.

5 உம்மாலே கூடுமானால் எனக்கு மறுமொழி கொடும்; நீர் ஆயத்தப்பட்டு எனக்கு எதிராக நில்லும். If thou canst answer me, set thy words in order before me, stand up.

6 இதோ, உம்மைப்போல நானும் தேவனால் உண்டானவன்; நானும் மண்ணினால் உருவாக்கப்பட்டவன். Behold, I am according to thy wish in God's stead: I also am formed out of the clay.

7 இதோ, நீர் எனக்குப் பயப்பட்டுக்கலங்கத் தேவையில்லை; என் கை உம்மேல் பாரமாயிருக்கமாட்டாது. Behold, my terror shall not make thee afraid, neither shall my hand be heavy upon thee.

8 நான் காதாரக் கேட்க நீர் சொன்னதும், எனக்குக் கேள்வியான உம்முடைய வார்த்தைகளின் சத்தமும் என்னவென்றால்: Surely thou hast spoken in mine hearing, and I have heard the voice of thy words, saying,

9 நான் மீறுதல் இல்லாத சுத்தன், நான் குற்றமற்றவன், என்னில் அக்கிரமமில்லை. I am clean without transgression, I am innocent; neither is there iniquity in me.

10 இதோ, என்னில் அவர் குற்றம்பிடிக்கப் பார்க்கிறார், என்னைத் தமக்குச் சத்துருவாக எண்ணிக்கொள்ளுகிறார். Behold, he findeth occasions against me, he counteth me for his enemy,

11 அவர் என் கால்களைத் தொழுவிலே மாட்டி, என் நடைகளையெல்லாம் காவல்படுத்துகிறார் என்று சொன்னீர். He putteth my feet in the stocks, he marketh all my paths.

12 இதிலே நீர் நீதியுள்ளவர் அல்லவென்று உமக்குப் பிரதியுத்தரமாகச் சொல்லுகிறேன்; மனுஷனைப் பார்க்கிலும் தேவன் பெரியவராயிருக்கிறார். Behold, in this thou art not just: I will answer thee, that God is greater than man.

13 அவர் தம்முடைய செயல்களெல்லாவற்றையுங்குறித்துக் காரணம் சொல்லவில்லையென்று நீர் அவரோடே ஏன் வழக்காடுகிறீர்? Why dost thou strive against him? for he giveth not account of any of his matters.

14 தேவன் ஒருவிசை சொல்லியிருக்கிற காரியத்தை இரண்டாம்விசை பார்த்துத் திருத்துகிறவரல்லவே. For God speaketh once, yea twice, yet man perceiveth it not.

15 கனநித்திரை மனுஷர் மேல் இறங்கி, அவர்கள் படுக்கையின்மேல் அயர்ந்திருக்கையில், In a dream, in a vision of the night, when deep sleep falleth upon men, in slumberings upon the bed;

16 அவர் இராக்காலத்துத் தரிசனமான சொப்பனத்திலே மனுஷருடைய செவிக்குத் தாம் செய்யும் காரியத்தை வெளிப்படுத்தி, அதை அவர்களுக்கும் தண்டனையினாலே முத்திரைபோட்டு, Then he openeth the ears of men, and sealeth their instruction,

17 மனுஷன் தன்னுடைய செய்கையைவிட்டு நீங்கவும், மனுஷருடைய பெருமை அடங்கவும் செய்கிறார். That he may withdraw man from his purpose, and hide pride from man.

18 இவ்விதமாய் அவன் ஆத்துமாவைப் படுகுழிக்கும், அவன் ஜீவனைப் பட்டய வெட்டுக்கும் தப்புவிக்கிறார். He keepeth back his soul from the pit, and his life from perishing by the sword.

19 அவன் தன் படுக்கையிலே வாதையினாலும், தன் சகல எலும்புகளிலும் அகோரமான நோவினாலும் தண்டிக்கப்படுகிறான். He is chastened also with pain upon his bed, and the multitude of his bones with strong pain:

20 அவன் ஜீவன் அப்பத்தையும், அவன் ஆத்துமா ருசிகரமாக போஜனத்தையும் அரோசிக்கும். So that his life abhorreth bread, and his soul dainty meat.

21 அவன் மாம்சம் காணப்படாதபடிக்கு அழிந்து, மூடப்பட்டிருந்த அவன் எலும்புகள் வெளிப்படுகிறது. His flesh is consumed away, that it cannot be seen; and his bones that were not seen stick out.

22 அவன் ஆத்துமா பாதாளத்துக்கும், அவன் பிராணன் சாவுக்கும் சமீபிக்கிறது. Yea, his soul draweth near unto the grave, and his life to the destroyers.

23 ஆயிரத்தில் ஒருவராகிய சாமாசிபண்ணுகிற தூதனானவர் மனுஷனுக்குத் தம்முடைய நிதானத்தை அறிவிக்கும்படிக்கு, அவனுக்கு அநுசாரியாயிருந்தாரேயாகில், If there be a messenger with him, an interpreter, one among a thousand, to shew unto man his uprightness:

24 அவர் அவனுக்கு இரங்கி, அவன் படுகுழியில் இறங்காதபடிக்கு: நீர் அவனை இரட்சியும்; மீட்கும் பொருளை நான் கண்டுபிடித்தேன் என்பார். Then he is gracious unto him, and saith, Deliver him from going down to the pit: I have found a ransom.

25 அப்பொழுது அவன் மாம்சம் வாலிபத்தில் இருந்ததைப்பார்க்கிலும் ஆரோக்கியமடையும்; தன் வாலவயது நாட்களுக்குத் திரும்புவான். His flesh shall be fresher than a child's: he shall return to the days of his youth:

26 அவன் தேவனை நோக்கி விண்ணப்பம் பண்ணும்போது, அவன் அவருடைய சமுகத்தை கெம்பீரத்தோடே பார்க்கும்படி அவர் அவன்மேல் பிரியமாகி, அந்த மனுஷனுக்கு அவனுடைய நீதியின் பலனைக் கொடுப்பார். He shall pray unto God, and he will be favourable unto him: and he shall see his face with joy: for he will render unto man his righteousness.

27 அவன் மனுஷரை நோக்கிப்பார்த்து; நான் பாவஞ்செய்து செம்மையானதைப் புரட்டினேன், அது எனக்குப் பிரயோஜனமாயிருக்கவில்லை. He looketh upon men, and if any say, I have sinned, and perverted that which was right, and it profited me not;

28 என் ஆத்துமா படுகுழியிலில் இறங்காதபடி, அவர் அதை இரட்சிப்பார்; ஆகையால் என் பிராணன் வெளிச்சத்தைக் காணும் என்று சொல்லுவான். He will deliver his soul from going into the pit, and his life shall see the light.

29 இதோ, தேவன் மனுஷனுடைய ஆத்துமாவைப் படுகுழிக்கு விலக்குகிறதற்கும், அவனை ஜீவனுள்ளோரின் வெளிச்சத்திலே பிரகாசிப்பிக்கிறதற்கும், Lo, all these things worketh God oftentimes with man,

30 அவர் இவைகளையெல்லாம் அவனிடத்தில் பலமுறை நடப்பிக்கிறார். To bring back his soul from the pit, to be enlightened with the light of the living.

31 யோபே, நீர் கவனித்து என் சொல்லைக் கேளும்; நான் பேசப்போகிறேன், நீர் மவுனமாயிரும். Mark well, O Job, hearken unto me: hold thy peace, and I will speak.

32 சொல்லத்தக்க நியாயங்கள் இருந்ததேயானால், எனக்கு மறுஉத்தரவு கொடும்; நீர் பேசும், உம்மை நீதிமானாகத் தீர்க்க எனக்கு ஆசையுண்டு. If thou hast anything to say, answer me: speak, for I desire to justify thee.

33 ஒன்றும் இல்லாதிருந்ததேயாகில் நீர் என் சொல்லைக் கேளும், மவுனமாயிரும், நான் உமக்கு ஞானத்தை உபதேசிப்பேன் என்றான். If not, hearken unto me: hold thy peace, and I shall teach thee wisdom.

1 Yopae, en niyaayangalaikkaelum; en vaarththaikalukkellaam sevikodum. Wherefore, Job, I pray thee, hear my speeches, and hearken to all my words.

2 Itho, en vaayai ippothu thiranthaen, en vaayilirukkira en naavaanathu paesum. Behold, now I have opened my mouth, my tongue hath spoken in my mouth.

3 En vaarththaikal en iruthayaththin unnmaikku oththirukkum; naan arinthathai en uthadukal suththamaay vasanikkum. My words shall be of the uprightness of my heart: and my lips shall utter knowledge clearly.

4 Thaevanutaiya Aaviyaanavar ennai unndaakkinaar; sarvavallavarutaiya suvaasam enakku uyirkoduththathu. The spirit of God hath made me, and the breath of the Almighty hath given me life.

5 Ummaalae koodumaanaal enakku maraுmoli kodum; neer aayaththappattu enakku ethiraaka nillum. If thou canst answer me, set thy words in order before me, stand up.

6 Itho, ummaippola naanum thaevanaal unndaanavan; naanum mannnninaal uruvaakkappattavan. Behold, I am according to thy wish in God's stead: I also am formed out of the clay.

7 Itho, neer enakkup payappattukkalangath thaevaiyillai; en kai ummael paaramaayirukkamaattathu. Behold, my terror shall not make thee afraid, neither shall my hand be heavy upon thee.

8 Naan kaathaarak kaetka neer sonnathum, enakkuk kaelviyaana ummutaiya vaarththaikalin saththamum ennavental: Surely thou hast spoken in mine hearing, and I have heard the voice of thy words, saying,

9 Naan meeraுthal illaatha suththan, naan kuttamattavan, ennil akkiramamillai. I am clean without transgression, I am innocent; neither is there iniquity in me.

10 Itho, ennil avar kuttampitikkap paarkkiraar, ennaith thamakkuch saththuruvaaka ennnnikkollukiraar. Behold, he findeth occasions against me, he counteth me for his enemy,

11 Avar en kaalkalaith tholuvilae maatti, en nataikalaiyellaam kaavalpaduththukiraar entu sonneer. He putteth my feet in the stocks, he marketh all my paths.

12 Ithilae neer neethiyullavar allaventu umakkup pirathiyuththaramaakach sollukiraேn; manushanaip paarkkilum Dhevan periyavaraayirukkiraar. Behold, in this thou art not just: I will answer thee, that God is greater than man.

13 Avar thammutaiya seyalkalellaavattaைyunguriththuk kaaranam sollavillaiyentu neer avarotae aen valakkaadukireer? Why dost thou strive against him? for he giveth not account of any of his matters.

14 Dhevan oruvisai solliyirukkira kaariyaththai iranndaamvisai paarththuth thiruththukiravarallavae. For God speaketh once, yea twice, yet man perceiveth it not.

15 Kananiththirai manushar mael irangi, avarkal padukkaiyinmael ayarnthirukkaiyil, In a dream, in a vision of the night, when deep sleep falleth upon men, in slumberings upon the bed;

16 Avar iraakkaalaththuth tharisanamaana soppanaththilae manusharutaiya sevikkuth thaam seyyum kaariyaththai velippaduththi, athai avarkalukkum thanndanaiyinaalae muththiraipottu, Then he openeth the ears of men, and sealeth their instruction,

17 Manushan thannutaiya seykaiyaivittu neengavum, manusharutaiya perumai adangavum seykiraar. That he may withdraw man from his purpose, and hide pride from man.

18 Ivvithamaay avan aaththumaavaip padukulikkum, avan jeevanaip pattaya vettukkum thappuvikkiraar. He keepeth back his soul from the pit, and his life from perishing by the sword.

19 Avan than padukkaiyilae vaathaiyinaalum, than sakala elumpukalilum akoramaana Nnovinaalum thanntikkappadukiraan. He is chastened also with pain upon his bed, and the multitude of his bones with strong pain:

20 Avan jeevan appaththaiyum, avan aaththumaa rusikaramaaka pojanaththaiyum arosikkum. So that his life abhorreth bread, and his soul dainty meat.

21 Avan maamsam kaanappadaathapatikku alinthu, moodappattiruntha avan elumpukal velippadukirathu. His flesh is consumed away, that it cannot be seen; and his bones that were not seen stick out.

22 Avan aaththumaa paathaalaththukkum, avan piraanan saavukkum sameepikkirathu. Yea, his soul draweth near unto the grave, and his life to the destroyers.

23 Aayiraththil oruvaraakiya saamaasipannnukira thoothanaanavar manushanukkuth thammutaiya nithaanaththai arivikkumpatikku, avanukku anusaariyaayirunthaaraeyaakil, If there be a messenger with him, an interpreter, one among a thousand, to shew unto man his uprightness:

24 Avar avanukku irangi, avan padukuliyil irangaathapatikku: neer avanai iratchiyum; meetkum porulai naan kanndupitiththaen enpaar. Then he is gracious unto him, and saith, Deliver him from going down to the pit: I have found a ransom.

25 Appoluthu avan maamsam vaalipaththil irunthathaippaarkkilum aarokkiyamataiyum; than vaalavayathu naatkalukkuth thirumpuvaan. His flesh shall be fresher than a child's: he shall return to the days of his youth:

26 Avan thaevanai Nnokki vinnnappam pannnumpothu, avan avarutaiya samukaththai kempeeraththotae paarkkumpati avar avanmael piriyamaaki, antha manushanukku avanutaiya neethiyin palanaik koduppaar. He shall pray unto God, and he will be favourable unto him: and he shall see his face with joy: for he will render unto man his righteousness.

27 Avan manusharai Nnokkippaarththu; naan paavanjaெythu semmaiyaanathaip purattinaen, athu enakkup pirayojanamaayirukkavillai. He looketh upon men, and if any say, I have sinned, and perverted that which was right, and it profited me not;

28 En aaththumaa padukuliyilil irangaathapati, avar athai iratchippaar; aakaiyaal en piraanan velichchaththaik kaanum entu solluvaan. He will deliver his soul from going into the pit, and his life shall see the light.

29 Itho, Dhevan manushanutaiya aaththumaavaip padukulikku vilakkukiratharkum, avanai jeevanullorin velichchaththilae pirakaasippikkiratharkum, Lo, all these things worketh God oftentimes with man,

30 Avar ivaikalaiyellaam avanidaththil palamurai nadappikkiraar. To bring back his soul from the pit, to be enlightened with the light of the living.

31 Yopae, neer kavaniththu en sollaik kaelum; naan paesappokiraேn, neer mavunamaayirum. Mark well, O Job, hearken unto me: hold thy peace, and I will speak.

32 Sollaththakka niyaayangal irunthathaeyaanaal, enakku maraுuththaravu kodum; neer paesum, ummai neethimaanaakath theerkka enakku aasaiyunndu. If thou hast anything to say, answer me: speak, for I desire to justify thee.

33 Ontum illaathirunthathaeyaakil neer en sollaik kaelum, mavunamaayirum, naan umakku njaanaththai upathaesippaen entan. If not, hearken unto me: hold thy peace, and I shall teach thee wisdom.
