இந்தப் புருஷன் சந்தானமற்றவன், தன் நாட்களில் வாழ்வடையாதவன் என்று இவனைக்குறித்து எழுதுங்கள்; அவன் வித்தில் ஒருவனாகிலும் வாழ்வடைந்து, தாவீதின் சிங்காசனத்தில் வீற்றிருந்து யூதாவில் அரசாளப்போகிறதில்லை என்று கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறார்.

இந்த மனிதன் சந்ததியில்லாதவன், தன் நாட்களில் வாழ்வடையாதவன் என்று இவனைக்குறித்து எழுதுங்கள்; அவன் வித்தில் ஒருவனாகிலும் வாழ்வடைந்து, தாவீதின் சிங்காசனத்தில் வீற்றிருந்து, யூதாவில் அரசாளப்போவதில்லை என்று கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறார்.

கர்த்தர் கூறுகிறார், “யோயாக்கீன் பற்றி இதனை எழுதிக்கொள்ளுங்கள். ‘அவன் இனிமேல் குழந்தைகளே இல்லாதவன். யோயாக்கீன் இனி வாழ்நாள் முழுவதும் கீர்த்தி பெறமாட்டான். தாவீதின் சிங்காசனத்தில் அவனது பிள்ளைகள் எவரும் அமரமாட்டார்கள். அவனது பிள்ளைகள் எவரும் யூதாவை ஆளமாட்டார்கள்.’”

Inthap purushan santhaanamattavan, than naatkalil vaalvataiyaathavan entu ivanaikkuriththu eluthungal; avan viththil oruvanaakilum vaalvatainthu, thaaveethin singaasanaththil veettirunthu yoothaavil arasaalappokirathillai entu Karththar sollukiraar.
