Psalm 124 - BBE (Bengali)

1 <A Song of the going up. Of David.> If it had not been the Lord who was on our side (let Israel now say);যদি প্রভু আমাদের দিকে না থাকতেন তাহলে কি হতে পারত? হে ই্রাযেল, আমাকে উত্তর দাও|

2 If it had not been the Lord who was on our side, when men came up against us;যখন লোকে আমাদের আক্রমণ করেছিলো, তখন যদি প্রভু আমাদের দিকে না থাকতেন তাহলে কি অবস্থা হত?

3 They would have made a meal of us while still living, in the heat of their wrath against us:যখন আমাদের শত্রুরা আমাদের প্রতি ক্রুদ্ধ হয়েছিলো, তখন হয়তো তারা আমাদের জ্য়ান্ত গিলে ফেলত|

4 We would have been covered by the waters; the streams would have gone over our soul;আমাদের শত্রুরা আমাদের বন্যার মত ধুয়ে দিয়ে য়েতো, নদীর মত ডুবিয়ে দিয়ে য়েতো|

5 Yes, the waters of pride would have gone over our soul.ঐ গর্বিত লোকরা মুখের ওপর ছাড়িযে যাওয়া জলের মত হত এবং আমাদের ডুবিয়ে দিত|

6 Praise be to the Lord, who has not let us be wounded by their teeth.প্রভুর প্রশংসা কর! প্রভু আমাদের শত্রুদের হাতে, আমাদের ধরা পড়তে ও হত হতে দেন নি|

7 Our soul has gone free like a bird out of the net of those who would take her: the net is broken, and we are free.আমরা সেই পাখির মত, য়ে জালে জড়িয়ে পড়েও পালিয়ে গিয়েছিলো| জাল ছিঁড়ে গেল এবং আমরা পালিয়ে গেলাম|

8 Our help is in the name of the Lord, the maker of heaven and earth.প্রভুর কাছ থেকে আমাদের সাহায্য আসে| প্রভুই স্বর্গ ও পৃথিবী সৃষ্টি করেছেন|
