যদি তুমি তাদের ছেড়ে না দাও তাহলে তোমার ঘরে মাছির ঝাঁক ঢুকবে| শুধু তোমার ঘরেই নয় তোমার সভাসদগণ ও তোমার প্রজাদের ঘরেও মাছির ঝাঁক ঢুকবে| মিশরের প্রত্যেকটি ঘর মাছির ঝাঁকে পরিপূর্ণ হয়ে উঠবে| মিশরের মাঠে ঘাটে সর্বত্র শুধু ঝাঁকে ঝাঁকে মাছি উড়ে বেড়াবে!

Else,	כִּ֣י	kî	kee
if	אִם	ʾim	eem
thou wilt not	אֵֽינְךָ֮	ʾayin	ah-YEEN
go,	מְשַׁלֵּ֣חַ	šālaḥ	sha-LAHK
let	אֶת	ʾēt	ate
my people	עַמִּי֒	ʿam	am
behold,	הִנְנִי֩	hēn	hane
I will send	מַשְׁלִ֨יחַ	šālaḥ	sha-LAHK
	בְּךָ֜
upon thee, and upon thy servants,	וּבַֽעֲבָדֶ֧יךָ	ʿebed	eh-VED
and upon thy people,	וּֽבְעַמְּךָ֛	ʿam	am
and into thy houses:	וּבְבָתֶּ֖יךָ	bayit	ba-YEET
	אֶת	ʾēt	ate
swarms	הֶֽעָרֹ֑ב	ʿārōb	ah-ROVE
shall be full	וּמָ֨לְא֜וּ	mālēʾ	ma-LAY
and the houses	בָּתֵּ֤י	bayit	ba-YEET
of the Egyptians	מִצְרַ֙יִם֙	miṣrayim	meets-ra-YEEM
of	אֶת	ʾēt	ate
swarms	הֶ֣עָרֹ֔ב	ʿārōb	ah-ROVE
and also	וְגַ֥ם	gam	ɡahm
the ground	הָֽאֲדָמָ֖ה	ʾădāmâ	uh-da-MA
	אֲשֶׁר	ʾăšer	uh-SHER
they	הֵ֥ם	hēm	hame
whereon	עָלֶֽיהָ׃	ʿal	al
