Ephesians 4 - BBE (Bengali)

1 I then, the prisoner in the Lord, make this request from my heart, that you will see that your behaviour is a credit to the position which God's purpose has given you,আমি প্রভুর বলে কারাগারে বন্দী৷ ঈশ্বর তোমাদের মনোনীত করেছেন য়েন তোমরা তাঁর লোক হতে পার৷ আমি তোমাদের সেইরকম জীবনযাপন করতে অনুরোধ করি, য়েভাবে ঈশ্বরের লোকদের জীবনযাপন করা উচিত৷

2 With all gentle and quiet behaviour, taking whatever comes, putting up with one another in love;তোমরা সর্বদাই নতনম্র থাক, সহিষ্ণু হও, ভালবেসে একে অপরকে গ্রহণ কর৷

3 Taking care to keep the harmony of the Spirit in the yoke of peace.পবিত্র আত্মা তোমাদের যুক্ত করেছিলেন৷ সেই একতা রক্ষা করার জন্য সর্বোত্তমভাবে চেষ্টা কর৷ শান্তি তোমাদের একসঙ্গে ধরে থাকুক৷

4 There is one body and one Spirit, even as you have been marked out by God in the one hope of his purpose for you;দেহ এক ও আত্মা এক, ঠিক সেইরকমই ঈশ্বর তোমাদের সকলকে এক প্রত্যাশার জন্য আহ্বান করেছেন৷

5 One Lord, one faith, one baptism,কেবল একই প্রভু, এক বিশ্বাস ও এক বাপ্তিস্ম রয়েছে;

6 One God and Father of all, who is over all, and through all, and in all.আর আছেন এক ঈশ্বর যিনি সকলের পিতা৷ যিনি সকলের ওপরে কর্তৃত্ত্ব করেন৷ তিনি সর্বত্র আছেন ও সবকিছুতে আছেন৷

7 But to every one of us has grace been given in the measure of the giving of Christ.খ্রীষ্ট আমাদের প্রত্যেককে বিশেষ বিশেষ বরদান দিয়েছেন৷ যাকে যা দিতে ইচ্ছা করেছেন তাকে তা দিয়েছেন৷

8 For this reason he says, He went up on high, taking his prisoners with him, and gave freely to men.তাই শাস্ত্র বলছে: ‘তিনি উর্দ্ধে আকাশে গেলেন, সঙ্গে বন্দীদের নিয়ে গেলেন, আর মানুষের হাতে তুলে দিয়ে গেলেন নানা বরদান৷’ গীতসংহিতা 68 : 18

9 (Now this, He went up, what is it but that he first went down into the lower parts of the earth?যখন বলা হয়েছে, ‘তিনি উর্দ্ধে উঠে গেলেন,’ তার অর্থ কি? তার অর্থ এই য়ে প্রথমে তিনি নিম্নে পৃথিবীতে নেমেছিলেন৷

10 He who went down is the same who went up far over all the heavens so that he might make all things complete.)সেই জন যিনি নেমে এসেছিলেন (খ্রীষ্ট) তিনি সেই একই ব্যক্তি যিনি আকাশের থেকেও উচ্চে উঠেছিলেন, যাতে সব কিছুই তাঁর দ্বারা পূর্ণ করতে পারেন৷

11 And he gave some as Apostles, and some, prophets; and some, preachers of the good news; and some to give care and teaching;সেই খ্রীষ্ট লোকদের বরদান করলেন, তাদের কয়েকজনকে প্রেরিত করলেন, আবার কয়েকজনকে ভাববাদী, কয়েকজনকে সুসমাচার প্রচারক, কয়েকজনকে শিক্ষক ও পালক হবার ক্ষমতা দিলেন৷

12 For the training of the saints as servants in the church, for the building up of the body of Christ:ঈশ্বরের লোকদেরকে প্রস্তুত করার জন্য ও সেবার কাজ সম্পন্ন করার উদ্দেশ্যে খ্রীষ্ট এইসব বরদান করেছেন৷ খ্রীষ্টের দেহরূপে মণ্ডলীকে গঠন করার জন্য তিনি সেইসব বর দিয়েছেন৷

13 Till we all come to the harmony of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to full growth, to the full measure of Christ:য়ে পর্যন্ত না আমরা ঈশ্বরের পুত্রের বিষয়ে একই বিশ্বাস ও তত্ত্বজ্ঞানে সুষ্ঠভাবে যুক্ত হব, সেই পর্যন্ত এই কাজ চলতে থাকবে৷ আমাদের পরিণত মানুষের মতো হতে হবে৷ আমরা ততদিন বৃদ্ধি পেতে থাকব য়ে পর্যন্ত না খ্রীষ্টের মত হই ও তাঁর মত সম্পূর্ণ সিদ্ধ হই৷

14 So that we may be no longer children, sent this way and that, turned about by every wind of teaching, by the twisting and tricks of men, by the deceits of error;তখন আমরা আর শিশুর মত থাকব না৷ জাহাজ য়েমন তরঙ্গের দাপটে এদিক ওদিক চালিত হয়, তেমনি আমরা কোন নতুন শিক্ষা দ্বারা আর স্থানচ্যুত হব না; ঠগবাজ লোকের নতুন শিক্ষা দ্বারা আমরা প্রভাবিত হব না৷ এরা তাদের পরিকল্পনা ও চালবাজি দ্বারা মানুষকে ঠকিয়ে ভুল পথে নিয়ে যায়৷

15 But saying true words in love, may come to full growth in him, who is the head, even Christ;আমরা বরং প্রেমের সঙ্গে সত্য কথাই বলব, এইভাবে খ্রীষ্টের মতো সব বিষয়ে আমরা বৃদ্ধিলাভ করব৷ খ্রীষ্ট হলেন মস্তক, আমরা তাঁর দেহ৷

16 Through whom all the body, being rightly formed and united together, by the full working of every part, is increased to the building up of itself in love.সমস্ত দেহটা খ্রীষ্টের ওপর নির্ভরশীল৷ দেহের সমস্ত অঙ্গ প্রত্যঙ্গ পরস্পরের সঙ্গে একত্রে যুক্ত রয়েছে৷ দেহের বিভিন্ন অঙ্গ যখন তাদের করণীয় কাজ করে, তখন সমস্ত দেহ বৃদ্ধিলাভ করে প্রেমে শক্ত ও দৃঢ় হয়৷

17 This I say, then, and give witness in the Lord, that you are to go no longer in the way of the Gentiles whose minds are turned to that which has no profit,প্রভুর হয়ে আমি তোমাদের সতর্ক করে দিচ্ছি, - যাঁরা বিশ্বাস করে না এমন লোকদের মতো জীবনযাপন করো না৷ এমন লোকের চিন্তাধারা মূল্যহীন৷

18 Whose thoughts are dark, to whom the life of God is strange because they are without knowledge, and their hearts have been made hard;তাদের জ্ঞান বুদ্ধি নেই৷ তারা কিছুই জানে না কারণ শুনতে চায় না৷ তাই য়ে জীবন ঈশ্বর তাদের দিতে চান তা থেকে তারা বঞ্চিত থাকে৷

19 Who having no more power of feeling, have given themselves up to evil passions, to do all unclean things with overmuch desire.তাদের মনে লজ্জা বলে কোন অনুভূতিই নেই, তারা মন্দ পথে নিজেদের গা ভাসিয়ে দিয়েছে৷ বিনা দ্বিধায় তারা সব রকম খারাপ কাজ করে চলে৷

20 For this was not the teaching of Christ which was given to you;কিন্তু খ্রীষ্টের কাছ থেকে তোমরা তো এমন মন্দ শিক্ষা পাও নি৷

21 If in fact you gave ear to him, and were given teaching in him, even as what is true is made clear in Jesus:আমি জানি তাঁর অনুগামী হিসাবে সেই সত্য অনুসারে তোমাদের শিক্ষা দেওয়া হয়েছিল, য়ে সত্য খ্রীষ্ট যীশুতে রয়েছে৷

22 That you are to put away, in relation to your earlier way of life, the old man, which has become evil by love of deceit;তোমাদের পুরানো প্রবৃত্তিকে ত্যাগ করতে শিক্ষা দেওয়া হয়েছে৷ আগে য়েভাবে মন্দ জীবনযাপন করতে তা ছাড়তে বলা হয়েছে৷ সেই পুরানো সত্ত্বা দিন দিন মন্দ থেকে মন্দতর হয়, কারণ লোকরা তাদের মন্দ চিন্তা দ্বারা প্রবঞ্চিত হয়৷

23 And be made new in the spirit of your mind,কিন্তু তোমাদের শেখানো শিক্ষা অনুসারে তোমরা আপন হৃদয়ে পুনরায় নতুন হয়ে ওঠ,

24 And put on the new man, to which God has given life, in righteousness and a true and holy way of living.এবং সেই নতুন সত্ত্বাকে অবশ্যই পরিধান কর৷ সেই নতুন সত্ত্বা ঈশ্বরের মত হবার জন্য সৃষ্টি করা হয়েছে, যা সত্যই ভাল এবং পবিত্র৷

25 And so, putting away false words, let everyone say what is true to his neighbour: for we are parts one of another.তাই একে অপরের কাছে মিথ্যা বলা বন্ধ কর, কারণ আমরা পরস্পর এক দেহেরই অঙ্গ প্রত্যঙ্গ৷

26 Be angry without doing wrong; let not the sun go down on your wrath;রেগে গেলে তার প্রভাবে য়েন পাপ করো না এবং সারাদিন রাগ করে থেকো না৷

27 And do not give way to the Evil One.তোমাকে পরাস্ত করতে দিয়াবলকে কোন রকম সুয়োগ নিতে দিও না৷

28 Let him who was a thief be so no longer, but let him do good work with his hands, so that he may have something to give to him who is in need.য়ে এক সময় চুরি করত সে য়েন আর কখনও চুরি না করে, বরং ভাল কিছু কাজ করতে নিজ হাতে পরিশ্রম করে৷ সে য়েন সবরকম ভাল কাজ করে, তাহলে অভাবী লোকদের সঙ্গে ভাগ করে দেবার জন্যেও তার কিছু থাকবে৷

29 Let no evil talk come out of your mouth, but only what is good for giving necessary teaching, and for grace to those who give ear.অপরের সঙ্গে আলাপ আলোচনা করার সময় কোন খারাপ কথা বলো না৷ লোকেদের প্রযোজনীয় আত্মিক শক্তি দেবার জন্য যা ভাল কেবল তাই-ই বল৷ এমনভাবে কথা বল য়েন তোমার কথায় অপরের উপকার হয়৷

30 And do not give grief to the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were marked for the day of salvation.তোমরা ঈশ্বরের পবিত্র আত্মাকে বিষন্ন করো না৷ আত্মা ঈশ্বরের কাছে প্রমাণ করে য়ে তোমরা ঈশ্বরের অধিকারভুক্ত৷ ঈশ্বরের নিরূপিত সময়ে ঈশ্বর য়ে তোমাদের যুক্ত করবেন তার প্রমাণস্বরূপ ঈশ্বর সেই আত্মাকে তোমাদের মধ্যে দিয়েছেন৷

31 Let all bitter, sharp and angry feeling, and noise, and evil words, be put away from you, with all unkind acts;সব রকমের তিক্ততা, রোষ, ক্রোধ, চেঁচামেচি, নিন্দা ও সব রকমের বিদ্বেষভাব তোমাদের থেকে দূরে রাখ৷

32 And be kind to one another, full of pity, having forgiveness for one another, even as God in Christ had forgiveness for you.পরস্পরের প্রতি স্নেহশীল হও, পরস্পরকে একইভাবে ক্ষমা কর, য়েভাবে ঈশ্বরও খ্রীষ্টে তোমাদের ক্ষমা করেছেন৷
