Colossians 3 - YLT (Bengali)

1 If, then, ye were raised with the Christ, the things above seek ye, where the Christ is, on the right hand of God seated,খ্রীষ্টের সঙ্গে তোমরা মৃতদের মধ্য থেকে পুনরুত্থিত হয়েছ; তাই স্বর্গীয় বিষয়গুলির জন্য চেষ্টা কর, য়েখানে খ্রীষ্ট ঈশ্বরের দক্ষিণ পাশে বসে আছেন৷

2 the things above mind ye, not the things upon the earth,সেই স্বর্গীয় বিষয়সকলের কথা ভাব, য়ে সকল বিষয়বস্তু জগতে আছে সেগুলির বিষয় নয়৷

3 for ye did die, and your life hath been hid with the Christ in God;কারণ তোমাদের পুরানো সত্ত্বার মৃত্যু হয়েছে; আর তোমাদের নতুন জীবন খ্রীষ্টের সঙ্গে ঈশ্বরের মধ্যে নিহিত আছে৷

4 when the Christ -- our life -- may be manifested, then also we with him shall be manifested in glory.খ্রীষ্ট যখন ফিরে আসবেন, তখন তোমরাও তাঁর সঙ্গে মহিমামণ্ডিত হয়ে প্রকাশিত হবে৷

5 Put to death, then, your members that `are' upon the earth -- whoredom, uncleanness, passion, evil desire, and the covetousness, which is idolatry --তাই তোমাদের জাগতিক স্বভাব থেকে সব মন্দ বিষয় দূর করে দাও৷ য়েমন: য়ৌনপাপ, অপবিত্রতা, অশুচি চিন্তার বশবর্তী হওয়া, মন্দ বিষয়ের লালসা করা এবং লোভ৷ লোভ এক প্রকার প্রতিমা পূজা৷

6 because of which things cometh the anger of God upon the sons of the disobedience,এইসবের জন্য ঈশ্বরের ক্রোধ হচ্ছে৷

7 in which also ye -- ye did walk once, when ye lived in them;তোমাদের অতীতের পাপময় জীবনে তোমরা সেইসব মন্দ কাজে লিপ্ত ছিলে৷

8 but now put off, even ye, the whole -- anger, wrath, malice, evil-speaking, filthy talking -- out of your mouth.কিন্তু এখন তোমাদের জীবন থেকে রাগ, ক্রোধ, ঘৃণাপূর্ণ অনুভূতি, অপমানসূচক আচরণ এবং লজ্জাজনক আলাপ সব দূর করে দাও৷

9 Lie not one to another, having put off the old man with his practices,পরস্পরের কাছে মিথ্যা বোলো না, কারণ তোমরা তোমাদের পুরানো পাপময় সত্ত্বাকে তার সমস্ত মন্দ কর্ম সমেত ত্যাগ করেছ৷

10 and having put on the new, which is renewed in regard to knowledge, after the image of Him who did create him;তোমরা নতুন সত্ত্বাকে পরিধান করেছ; এই নতুন জীবনে তোমাদের নতুন করে তৈরী করা হচ্ছে৷ তোমাদের যিনি সৃষ্টি করেছেন তোমরা তাঁর মতো হয়ে উঠছ, এই নতুন জীবনের মাধ্যমে তোমরা ঈশ্বরের সত্য পরিচয় পাচ্ছ৷

11 where there is not Greek and Jew, circumcision and uncircumcision, foreigner, Scythian, servant, freeman -- but the all and in all -- Christ.এই নতুন জীবনে ইহুদী কি গ্রীক এর মধ্যে কোন পার্থক্য নেই৷ যাদের সুন্নত হয়েছে আর যাদের সুন্নত হয় নি, অথবা কোন বিদেশী বা বর্বর এদের মধ্যে কোন পার্থক্য নেই৷ ক্রীতদাস বা স্বাধীনের মধ্যে কোন পার্থক্য নেই৷ খ্রীষ্ট ঐসব বিশ্বাসীদের মধ্যে বাস করেন৷ একমাত্র খ্রীষ্টই হলেন প্রযোজনীয় বিষয়৷

12 Put on, therefore, as choice ones of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humble-mindedness, meekness, long-suffering,ঈশ্বর তোমাদের মনোনীত করেছেন ও তোমাদের তাঁর পবিত্র লোক বলে নিরূপণ করেছেন৷ তিনি তোমাদের ভালবাসেন, তাই এইসব ভাল গুণগুলি পরিধান করে সহানুভূতিপূর্ণ, দয়ালু, নম্র, ভদ্র এবং ধৈর্য্যবান হও৷

13 forbearing one another, and forgiving each other, if any one with any one may have a quarrel, as also the Christ did forgive you -- so also ye;পরস্পরের প্রতি ক্রুদ্ধ ভাব রেখো না কিন্তু একে অপরকে ক্ষমা কর৷ কেউ যদি তোমার বিরুদ্ধে কোন অন্যায় করে, তবে একে অপরকে ক্ষমা করো৷ অপরকে ক্ষমা করো, কারণ প্রভু তোমাদের ক্ষমা করেছেন৷

14 and above all these things, `have' love, which is a bond of the perfection,এসব তো করবেই কিন্তু সবার ওপরে পরস্পরের প্রতি ভালবাসা রেখো, সেইভালোবাসা তোমাদের একসূত্রে গাঁথে আর পরিপূর্ণতা দেয়৷

15 and let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also ye were called in one body, and become thankful.প্রভু খ্রীষ্ট য়ে শান্তি দেন তা তোমাদের অন্তরের সমস্তচিন্তাকে সংযত রাখুক৷ তোমরা তো সেই কারণেই শান্তি পেতে একদেহে আহূত হয়েছ৷ তোমরা সব সময় কৃতজ্ঞ থাক৷

16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing each other, in psalms, and hymns, and spiritual songs, in grace singing in your hearts to the Lord;খ্রীষ্টের শিক্ষা তোমাদের অন্তরে প্রচুর পরিমাণে থাকুক৷ সকল বিজ্ঞতা ব্যবহার করে পরস্পরকে বলিষ্ঠ কর এবং শিক্ষা দাও৷ কৃতজ্ঞচিত্তে ঈশ্বরের উদ্দেশ্যে গীতসংহিতার গীত, প্রশংসার গীত এবং আত্মিক গীত গাও৷

17 and all, whatever ye may do in word or in work, `do' all things in the name of the Lord Jesus -- giving thanks to the God and Father, through him.কথায় বা কাজে যা কিছু করো, সবই প্রভুর নামে কর এবং পিতা ঈশ্বরকে যীশুর মাধ্যমে ধন্যবাদ দাও৷

18 The wives! be subject to your own husbands, as is fit in the Lord;স্ত্রীরা, তোমরা তোমাদের স্বামীর অনুগতা থাক, এটাই হবে প্রভুর অনুসারীদের উপযুক্ত কাজ৷

19 the husbands! love your wives, and be not bitter with them;স্বামীরা, তোমরা তোমাদের স্ত্রীকে ভালবাস, তাদের সঙ্গে মধুর ব্যবহার করো৷

20 the children! obey the parents in all things, for this is well-pleasing to the Lord;সন্তানরা, তোমরা সব বিষয়ে তোমাদের বাবা-মার বাধ্য হযো; এতে প্রভু সন্তুষ্ট হন৷

21 the fathers! vex not your children, lest they be discouraged.পিতারা তোমরা তোমাদের সন্তানদের বিরক্ত করো না, তাদের খুশী মতো চলতে না পারলে তারা উত্‌সাহ হারাবে৷

22 The servants! obey in all things those who are masters according to the flesh, not in eye-service as men-pleasers, but in simplicity of heart, fearing God;ক্রীতদাসরা, তোমাদের মনিবদের সব বিষয়ে মান্য করবে৷ তাঁরা দেখুন বা না দেখুন তোমরা সব সময় তাঁদের বাধ্য থেকো এতে তোমরা মানুষকে খুশী করতে নয় কিন্তু প্রভুকেই খুশী করতে চেষ্টা করছ, সুতরাং সততার সঙ্গে মনিবদের মান্য করো, কারণ তোমরা প্রভুকে সম্মান করো৷

23 and all, whatever ye may do -- out of soul work -- as to the Lord, and not to men,তোমরা সমস্ত কাজ আন্তরিকতার সঙ্গে করো৷ মানুষের জন্য য়ে করছ তা নয়, কিন্তু প্রভুর কাজ মনে করেই কাজ করে যাও৷

24 having known that from the Lord ye shall receive the recompense of the inheritance -- for the Lord Christ ye serve;মনে রেখো, প্রভুর কাছ থেকেই তোমরা তার পুরস্কার পাবে. ঈশ্বর তাঁর আপনজনদের দেবেন বলে য়ে প্রতিশ্রুতি দিয়েছেন তোমরা তার অংশীদার হবে৷ তোমরা প্রভু যীশু খ্রীষ্টেরই সেবা করছ৷

25 and he who is doing unrighteously shall receive what he did unrighteously, and there is no acceptance of persons.মনে রেখো, কেউ যদি অন্যায় কাজ করে, সেই ব্যক্তিকে তার অন্যায় কাজের জন্য শাস্তি পেতে হবে৷ প্রভু সকলকেই সমভাবে বিচার করেন৷
