রিবিকা অসাধারণ সুন্দরী| সে কখনও কোন পুরুষের সঙ্গে ঘুমায নি| সে ছিল কুমারী| কূপের ধারে গিয়ে সে কলসী ভরে জল নিল|
| And the damsel | וְהַֽנַּעֲרָ֗ | wĕhannaʿărā | veh-ha-na-uh-RA |

| neither | וְאִ֖ישׁ | wĕʾîš | veh-EESH |
| had any man | לֹ֣א | lōʾ | loh |
| known | יְדָעָ֑הּ | yĕdāʿāh | yeh-da-AH |
| her: and she went down | וַתֵּ֣רֶד | wattēred | va-TAY-red |
| well, the to | הָעַ֔יְנָה | hāʿaynâ | ha-AH-na |
| and filled | וַתְּמַלֵּ֥א | wattĕmallēʾ | va-teh-ma-LAY |
| her pitcher, | כַדָּ֖הּ | kaddāh | ha-DA |
