যাঁরা পিতরের কথা গ্রহণ করলেন, তাঁরা বাপ্তিস্ম নিলেন৷ এর ফলে সেদিন কম বেশী তিন হাজার লোক খ্রীষ্টবিশ্বাসীবর্গের সঙ্গে যুক্ত হলেন৷
