কিন্তু অনেকে যাঁরা পিতর ও য়োহনের মুখ থেকে সেই শিক্ষা শুনেছিল, তাদের মধ্যে অনেকেই যীশুর উপর বিশ্বাস করল৷ যাঁরা বিশ্বাস করল, সেই বিশ্বাসীদের মধ্যে পুরুষ মানুষই ছিল প্রায় পাঁচ হাজার৷
