Acts 25 in Tamil

1 பெஸ்து என்பவன் நாட்டிற்கு அதிபதியாக வந்து, மூன்று நாளானபின்பு, செசரியாவிலிருந்து எருசலேமுக்குப் போனான். Now when Festus was come into the province, after three days he ascended from Caesarea to Jerusalem.

2 அப்பொழுது பிரதான ஆசாரியனும் யூதரில் முதன்மையானவர்களும் அவனிடத்தில் வந்து, பவுலுக்கு விரோதமாகப் பிராதுபண்ணி, Then the high priest and the chief of the Jews informed him against Paul, and besought him,

3 அவனை வழியிலே கொன்றுபோடும்படி சர்ப்பனையான யோசனையுள்ளவர்களாய், தங்கள்மேல் தயவுசெய்து, அவனை எருசலேமுக்கு அழைப்பிக்கவேண்டுமென்று வேண்டிக்கொண்டார்கள். And desired favour against him, that he would send for him to Jerusalem, laying wait in the way to kill him.

4 அதற்குப் பெஸ்து பிரதியுத்தரமாக: பவுலைச் செசரியாவிலே காவல்பண்ணியிருக்கிறதே; நானும் சீக்கிரமாக அங்கே போகிறேன். But Festus answered, that Paul should be kept at Caesarea, and that he himself would depart shortly thither.

5 ஆகையால் உங்களில் திறமுள்ளவர்கள் கூடவந்து அந்த மனுஷனிடத்தில் குற்றம் ஏதாகிலும் உண்டானால், அந்தக் குற்றத்தை அவன்மேல் சாட்டட்டும் என்றான். Let them therefore, said he, which among you are able, go down with me, and accuse this man, if there be any wickedness in him.

6 அவன் அவர்களிடத்திலே ஏறக்குறைய பத்துநாள் சஞ்சரித்து, பின்பு செசரியாவுக்குப் போய், மறுநாளிலே நியாயாசனத்தில் உட்கார்ந்து, பவுலைக் கொண்டுவரும்படி கட்டளையிட்டான். And when he had tarried among them more than ten days, he went down unto Caesarea; and the next day sitting on the judgment seat commanded Paul to be brought.

7 அவன் வந்தபோது, எருசலேமிலிருந்துவந்த யூதர்கள் அவனைச் சூழ்ந்துநின்று, தங்களால் ரூபிக்கக்கூடாத அநேகங் கொடிய குற்றங்களை அவன்மேல் சாட்டினார்கள். And when he was come, the Jews which came down from Jerusalem stood round about, and laid many and grievous complaints against Paul, which they could not prove.

8 அதற்கு அவன் உத்தரவாக: நான் யூதருடைய வேதப்பிரமாணத்துக்காகிலும், தேவாலயத்துக்காகிலும், இராயருக்காகிலும் விரோதமாக ஒரு குற்றமும் செய்யவில்லையென்று சொன்னான். While he answered for himself, Neither against the law of the Jews, neither against the temple, nor yet against Caesar, have I offended any thing at all.

9 அப்பொழுது பெஸ்து யூதருக்குத் தயவுசெய்ய மனதாய், பவுலை நோக்கி: நீ எருசலேமுக்குப் போய், அவ்விடத்திலே இந்தக் காரியங்களைக்குறித்து எனக்குமுன்பாக நியாயம் விசாரிக்கப்பட உனக்குச் சம்மதியா என்றான். But Festus, willing to do the Jews a pleasure, answered Paul, and said, Wilt thou go up to Jerusalem, and there be judged of these things before me?

10 அதற்குப் பவுல்: நான் இராயருடைய நியாயாசனத்துக்கு முன்பாக நிற்கிறேன்; அதற்கு முன்பாக நான் நியாயம் விசாரிக்கப்படவேண்டியது; யூதருக்கு நான் அநியாயம் ஒன்றும் செய்யவில்லை, அதை நீரும் நன்றாய் அறிந்திருக்கிறீர். Then said Paul, I stand at Caesar's judgment seat, where I ought to be judged: to the Jews have I done no wrong, as thou very well knowest.

11 நான் அநியாயஞ்செய்து, மரணத்துக்குப் பாத்திரமானது ஏதாகிலும் நடப்பித்ததுண்டானால் நான் சாகாதபடிக்கு மனுகேட்கமாட்டேன். இவர்கள் என்மேல் சாட்டுகிற குற்றங்கள் முற்றிலும் அபத்தமானால், அவர்களுக்குத் தயவுபண்ணும்பொருட்டு ஒருவரும் என்னை அவர்களுக்கு ஒப்புக்கொடுக்கலாகாது. இராயருக்கு அபயமிடுகிறேன் என்றான். For if I be an offender, or have committed any thing worthy of death, I refuse not to die: but if there be none of these things whereof these accuse me, no man may deliver me unto them. I appeal unto Caesar.

12 அப்பொழுது பெஸ்து தன் ஆலோசனைக்காரருடனே ஆலோசித்து: நீ இராயருக்கு அபயமிட்டாயே; இராயரிடத்திற்கே போகக்கடவாயென்று உத்தரவுசொன்னான். Then Festus, when he had conferred with the council, answered, Hast thou appealed unto Caesar? unto Caesar shalt thou go.

13 சிலநாள் சென்றபின்பு, அகிரிப்பா ராஜாவும் பெர்னிக்கேயாளும் பெஸ்துவைக் கண்டுகொள்ளும்படி செசரியாவுக்கு வந்தார்கள். And after certain days king Agrippa and Bernice came unto Caesarea to salute Festus.

14 அவர்கள் அங்கே அநேகநாள் சஞ்சரித்திருக்கையில், பெஸ்து பவுலின் சங்கதியை ராஜாவுக்கு விவரித்து: பேலிக்ஸ் காவலில் வைத்துப்போன ஒரு மனுஷன் இருக்கிறான். And when they had been there many days, Festus declared Paul's cause unto the king, saying, There is a certain man left in bonds by Felix:

15 நான் எருசலேமில் இருந்தபோது, பிரதான ஆசாரியர்களும் யூதருடைய மூப்பர்களும் அவனைக்குறித்து என்னிடத்தில் பிராதுபண்ணி, அவனுக்கு விரோதமாகத் தீர்ப்புசெய்யவேண்டுமென்று கேட்டுக்கொண்டார்கள். About whom, when I was at Jerusalem, the chief priests and the elders of the Jews informed me, desiring to have judgment against him.

16 அவர்களுக்கு நான் பிரதியுத்தரமாக: குற்றஞ்சாட்டப்பட்ட மனுஷன் குற்றஞ்சாட்டினவர்களுக்கு முகமுமாய் நின்று, சாட்டின குற்றத்துக்குத் தனக்காக எதிருத்தரவு சொல்ல அவனுக்கு இடங்கிடைக்கிறதற்குமுன்னே, குற்றஞ்சாட்டி அவர்கள் பட்சமாய் அவனை மரணத்திற்கு ஒப்புக்கொடுக்கிறது ரோமருக்கு வழக்கமல்ல என்றேன். To whom I answered, It is not the manner of the Romans to deliver any man to die, before that he which is accused have the accusers face to face, and have licence to answer for himself concerning the crime laid against him.

17 ஆகையால் அவர்கள் இங்கே கூடிவந்தபோது, நான் எவ்வளவும் தாமதம்பண்ணாமல், மறுநாள் நியாயாசனத்தில் அமர்ந்து அந்த மனுஷனைக் கொண்டுவரும்படி கட்டளையிட்டேன். Therefore, when they were come hither, without any delay on the morrow I sat on the judgment seat, and commanded the man to be brought forth.

18 அப்பொழுது குற்றஞ்சாட்டினவர்கள் வந்துநின்று, நான் நினைத்திருந்த குற்றங்களில் ஒன்றையும் அவன்மேல் சுமத்தாமல், Against whom when the accusers stood up, they brought none accusation of such things as I supposed:

19 தங்களுடைய மார்க்கத்தைக்குறித்தும், மரித்துப்போன இயேசுமென்னுமொருவன் உயிரோடிருக்கிறானென்று பவுல் சாதித்ததைக்குறித்தும் சில தர்க்கவிஷயங்களை அவன் பேரில் விரோதமாய்ச் சொன்னார்கள். But had certain questions against him of their own superstition, and of one Jesus, which was dead, whom Paul affirmed to be alive.

20 இப்படிப்பட்ட தர்க்க விஷயங்களைக்குறித்து எனக்குச் சந்தேகமிருந்தபடியினால்: நீ எருசலேமுக்குப் போய், அங்கே இவைகளைக் குறித்து நியாயம் விசாரிக்கப்பட உனக்குச் சம்மதியா என்று கேட்டேன். And because I doubted of such manner of questions, I asked him whether he would go to Jerusalem, and there be judged of these matters.

21 அதற்குப் பவுல், தான் இராயருக்கு முன்பாக நியாயம் விசாரிக்கப்படும்படிக்கு நிறுத்திவைக்கப்படவேண்மென்று அபயமிட்டபோது, நான் அவனை இராயனிடத்திற்கு அனுப்புமளவும் காவல்பண்ணும்படி கட்டளையிட்டேன் என்றான். But when Paul had appealed to be reserved unto the hearing of Augustus, I commanded him to be kept till I might send him to Caesar.

22 அப்பொழுது அகிரிப்பா பெஸ்துவை நோக்கி: அந்த மனுஷன் சொல்லுகிறதை நானும் கேட்க மனதாயிருக்கிறேன் என்றான். அதற்கு அவன் நாளைக்கு நீர் கேட்கலாம் என்றான். Then Agrippa said unto Festus, I would also hear the man myself. To morrow, said he, thou shalt hear him.

23 மறுநாளிலே அகிரிப்பாவும் பெர்னிக்கேயாளும் மிகுந்த ஆடம்பரத்துடனே வந்து சேனாபதிகளோடும் பட்டணத்துப்பிரதான மனுஷரோடுங்கூட நியாயஸ்தலத்தில் பிரவேசித்தார்கள். உடனே பெஸ்துவினுடைய கட்டளையின்படி பவுல் கொண்டுவரப்பட்டான். And on the morrow, when Agrippa was come, and Bernice, with great pomp, and was entered into the place of hearing, with the chief captains, and principal men of the city, at Festus' commandment Paul was brought forth.

24 அப்பொழுது பெஸ்து: அகிரிப்பா ராஜாவே, எங்களோடேகூட இவ்விடத்தில் வந்திருக்கிறவர்களே, நீங்கள் காண்கிற இந்த மனுஷனைக்குறித்து யூதஜனங்களெல்லாரும் எருசலேமிலும் இவ்விடத்திலும் என்னை வருந்திக் கேட்டுக்கொண்டு, இவன் இனி உயிரோடிருக்கிறது தகாதென்று சொல்லிக் கூக்குரலிட்டார்கள். And Festus said, King Agrippa, and all men which are here present with us, ye see this man, about whom all the multitude of the Jews have dealt with me, both at Jerusalem, and also here, crying that he ought not to live any longer.

25 இவன் மரணத்துக்குப் பாத்திரமானதொன்றையும் செய்யவில்லையென்று நான் அறிந்துகொண்டதினாலும், இவன்தானே இராயனுக்கு அபயமிட்டபடியினாலும், அவரிடத்தில் இவனை அனுப்பும்படி தீர்மானம்பண்ணினேன். But when I found that he had committed nothing worthy of death, and that he himself hath appealed to Augustus, I have determined to send him.

26 இவனைக்குறித்து ஆண்டவனுக்கு எழுதுகிறதற்கு நிச்சயப்பட்ட காரியமொன்றும் எனக்கு விளங்கவில்லை. காவல்பண்ணப்பட்ட ஒருவன் செய்த குற்றங்களை எடுத்துக்காட்டாமல் அனுப்புகிறது புத்தியீனமான காரியமென்று எனக்குத் தோன்றுகிறபடியினாலே, Of whom I have no certain thing to write unto my lord. Wherefore I have brought him forth before you, and specially before thee, O king Agrippa, that, after examination had, I might have somewhat to write.

27 இவனை விசாரித்துக் கேட்டபின்பு எழுதத்தக்க விசேஷம் ஏதாகிலும் எனக்கு விளங்கும்படி, இவனை உங்களுக்கு முன்பாகவும், விசேஷமாய் அகிரிப்பா ராஜாவே, உமக்கு முன்பாக கொண்டுவந்தேன் என்றான். For it seemeth to me unreasonable to send a prisoner, and not withal to signify the crimes laid against him.

1 Pesthu enpavan naattirku athipathiyaaka vanthu, moontu naalaanapinpu, sesariyaavilirunthu erusalaemukkup ponaan. Now when Festus was come into the province, after three days he ascended from Caesarea to Jerusalem.

2 Appoluthu pirathaana aasaariyanum yootharil muthanmaiyaanavarkalum avanidaththil vanthu, pavulukku virothamaakap piraathupannnni, Then the high priest and the chief of the Jews informed him against Paul, and besought him,

3 Avanai valiyilae kontupodumpati sarppanaiyaana yosanaiyullavarkalaay, thangalmael thayavuseythu, avanai erusalaemukku alaippikkavaenndumentu vaenntikkonndaarkal. And desired favour against him, that he would send for him to Jerusalem, laying wait in the way to kill him.

4 Atharkup pesthu pirathiyuththaramaaka: pavulaich sesariyaavilae kaavalpannnniyirukkirathae; naanum seekkiramaaka angae pokiraேn. But Festus answered, that Paul should be kept at Caesarea, and that he himself would depart shortly thither.

5 Aakaiyaal ungalil thiramullavarkal koodavanthu antha manushanidaththil kuttam aethaakilum unndaanaal, anthak kuttaththai avanmael saattattum entan. Let them therefore, said he, which among you are able, go down with me, and accuse this man, if there be any wickedness in him.

6 Avan avarkalidaththilae aerakkuraiya paththunaal sanjariththu, pinpu sesariyaavukkup poy, maraுnaalilae niyaayaasanaththil utkaarnthu, pavulaik konnduvarumpati kattalaiyittan. And when he had tarried among them more than ten days, he went down unto Caesarea; and the next day sitting on the judgment seat commanded Paul to be brought.

7 Avan vanthapothu, erusalaemilirunthuvantha yootharkal avanaich soolnthunintu, thangalaal roopikkakkoodaatha anaekang kotiya kuttangalai avanmael saattinaarkal. And when he was come, the Jews which came down from Jerusalem stood round about, and laid many and grievous complaints against Paul, which they could not prove.

8 Atharku avan uththaravaaka: naan yootharutaiya vaethappiramaanaththukkaakilum, thaevaalayaththukkaakilum, iraayarukkaakilum virothamaaka oru kuttamum seyyavillaiyentu sonnaan. While he answered for himself, Neither against the law of the Jews, neither against the temple, nor yet against Caesar, have I offended any thing at all.

9 Appoluthu pesthu yootharukkuth thayavuseyya manathaay, pavulai Nnokki: nee erusalaemukkup poy, avvidaththilae inthak kaariyangalaikkuriththu enakkumunpaaka niyaayam visaarikkappada unakkuch sammathiyaa entan. But Festus, willing to do the Jews a pleasure, answered Paul, and said, Wilt thou go up to Jerusalem, and there be judged of these things before me?

10 Atharkup pavul: naan iraayarutaiya niyaayaasanaththukku munpaaka nirkiraேn; atharku munpaaka naan niyaayam visaarikkappadavaenntiyathu; yootharukku naan aniyaayam ontum seyyavillai, athai neerum nantay arinthirukkireer. Then said Paul, I stand at Caesar's judgment seat, where I ought to be judged: to the Jews have I done no wrong, as thou very well knowest.

11 Naan aniyaayanjaெythu, maranaththukkup paaththiramaanathu aethaakilum nadappiththathunndaanaal naan saakaathapatikku manukaetkamaattaேn. Ivarkal enmael saattukira kuttangal muttilum apaththamaanaal, avarkalukkuth thayavupannnumporuttu oruvarum ennai avarkalukku oppukkodukkalaakaathu. Iraayarukku apayamidukiraேn entan. 13 Silanaal sentapinpu, akirippaa raajaavum pernikkaeyaalum pesthuvaik kanndukollumpati sesariyaavukku vanthaarkal. And after certain days king Agrippa and Bernice came unto Caesarea to salute Festus.

14 Avarkal angae anaekanaal sanjariththirukkaiyil, pesthu pavulin sangathiyai raajaavukku vivariththu: paeliks kaavalil vaiththuppona oru manushan irukkiraan. And when they had been there many days, Festus declared Paul's cause unto the king, saying, There is a certain man left in bonds by Felix:

15 Naan erusalaemil irunthapothu, pirathaana aasaariyarkalum yootharutaiya moopparkalum avanaikkuriththu ennidaththil piraathupannnni, avanukku virothamaakath theerppuseyyavaenndumentu kaettukkonndaarkal. About whom, when I was at Jerusalem, the chief priests and the elders of the Jews informed me, desiring to have judgment against him.

16 Avarkalukku naan pirathiyuththaramaaka: kuttanjaattappatta manushan kuttanjaattinavarkalukku mukamumaay nintu, saattina kuttaththukkuth thanakkaaka ethiruththaravu solla avanukku idangitaikkiratharkumunnae, kuttanjaatti avarkal patchamaay avanai maranaththirku oppukkodukkirathu romarukku valakkamalla enten. 17 Aakaiyaal avarkal ingae kootivanthapothu, naan evvalavum thaamathampannnnaamal, maraுnaal niyaayaasanaththil amarnthu antha manushanaik konnduvarumpati kattalaiyittaேn. Therefore, when they were come hither, without any delay on the morrow I sat on the judgment seat, and commanded the man to be brought forth.

18 Appoluthu kuttanjaattinavarkal vanthunintu, naan ninaiththiruntha kuttangalil ontaiyum avanmael sumaththaamal, Against whom when the accusers stood up, they brought none accusation of such things as I supposed:

19 Thangalutaiya maarkkaththaikkuriththum, mariththuppona Yesumennumoruvan uyirotirukkiraanentu pavul saathiththathaikkuriththum sila tharkkavishayangalai avan paeril virothamaaych sonnaarkal. But had certain questions against him of their own superstition, and of one Jesus, which was dead, whom Paul affirmed to be alive.

20 Ippatippatta tharkka vishayangalaikkuriththu enakkuch santhaekamirunthapatiyinaal: nee erusalaemukkup poy, angae ivaikalaik kuriththu niyaayam visaarikkappada unakkuch sammathiyaa entu kaettaேn. And because I doubted of such manner of questions, I asked him whether he would go to Jerusalem, and there be judged of these matters.

21 Atharkup pavul, thaan iraayarukku munpaaka niyaayam visaarikkappadumpatikku niraுththivaikkappadavaennmentu apayamittapothu, naan avanai iraayanidaththirku anuppumalavum kaavalpannnumpati kattalaiyittaேn entan. But when Paul had appealed to be reserved unto the hearing of Augustus, I commanded him to be kept till I might send him to Caesar.

22 Appoluthu akirippaa pesthuvai Nnokki: antha manushan sollukirathai naanum kaetka manathaayirukkiraேn entan. Atharku avan naalaikku neer kaetkalaam entan. Then Agrippa said unto Festus, I would also hear the man myself. To morrow, said he, thou shalt hear him.

23 Maraுnaalilae akirippaavum pernikkaeyaalum mikuntha aadamparaththudanae vanthu senaapathikalodum pattanaththuppirathaana manusharodungaூda niyaayasthalaththil piravaesiththaarkal. Udanae pesthuvinutaiya kattalaiyinpati pavul konnduvarappattan. And on the morrow, when Agrippa was come, and Bernice, with great pomp, and was entered into the place of hearing, with the chief captains, and principal men of the city, at Festus' commandment Paul was brought forth.

24 Appoluthu pesthu: akirippaa raajaavae, engalotaekooda ivvidaththil vanthirukkiravarkalae, neengal kaannkira intha manushanaikkuriththu yoothajanangalellaarum erusalaemilum ivvidaththilum ennai varunthik kaettukkonndu, ivan ini uyirotirukkirathu thakaathentu sollik kookkuralittarkal. And Festus said, King Agrippa, and all men which are here present with us, ye see this man, about whom all the multitude of the Jews have dealt with me, both at Jerusalem, and also here, crying that he ought not to live any longer.

25 Ivan maranaththukkup paaththiramaanathontaiyum seyyavillaiyentu naan arinthukonndathinaalum, ivanthaanae iraayanukku apayamittapatiyinaalum, avaridaththil ivanai anuppumpati theermaanampannnninaen. But when I found that he had committed nothing worthy of death, and that he himself hath appealed to Augustus, I have determined to send him.

26 Ivanaikkuriththu aanndavanukku eluthukiratharku nichchayappatta kaariyamontum enakku vilangavillai. Kaavalpannnappatta oruvan seytha kuttangalai eduththukkaattamal anuppukirathu puththiyeenamaana kaariyamentu enakkuth thontukirapatiyinaalae, Of whom I have no certain thing to write unto my lord. Wherefore I have brought him forth before you, and specially before thee, O king Agrippa, that, after examination had, I might have somewhat to write.

27 Ivanai visaariththuk kaettapinpu eluthaththakka visesham aethaakilum enakku vilangumpati, ivanai ungalukku munpaakavum, viseshamaay akirippaa raajaavae, umakku munpaaka konnduvanthaen entan. For it seemeth to me unreasonable to send a prisoner, and not withal to signify the crimes laid against him.
