அவர் நியாயத்திற்கு ஜெயங்கிடைக்கப்பண்ணுகிறவரைக்கும், நெரிந்தநாணலை முறிக்காமலும், மங்கி எரிகிற திரியை அணைக்காமலும் இருப்பார்.

அதிகாலையிலே யோசுவா எழுந்த பின்பு, அவனும் இஸ்ரவேல் மக்கள் அனைவரும் சித்தீமிலிருந்து பயணம்செய்து, யோர்தான்வரைக்கும் வந்து, அதைக் கடந்துபோகுமுன்னே அங்கே இரவு தங்கினார்கள்.
