யாக்கோபு வம்சம் என்று பேர்பெற்றவர்களே கர்த்தரின் ஆவி குறுகியிருக்கிறதோ? அவருடைய கிரியைகள் இவைகள்தானோ? செம்மையாய் நடக்கிறவனுக்கு என் வார்த்தைகள் நன்மை செய்யாதோ?

சுத்தமாக இருக்கிறவன் தீட்டுப்பட்டவன்மேல் மூன்றாம் நாளிலும் ஏழாம் நாளிலும் தெளிக்கவேண்டும்; ஏழாம் நாளில் இவன் தன்னைச் சுத்திகரித்து, தன்னுடைய ஆடைகளைத் தோய்த்து, தண்ணீரில் குளித்து, மாலையிலே சுத்தமாக இருப்பான்.

“தீட்டு இல்லாத ஒருவன், இத்தண்ணீரை தீட்டுள்ளவன் மீது மூன்றாவது நாளும், ஏழாவது நாளும் தெளிக்கவேண்டும். ஏழாவது நாள் தீட்டுள்ளவன் சுத்தமாவான். அவன் தனது ஆடையை தண்ணீரில் துவைக்கவேண்டும். மாலையில அவன் சுத்தமாகிவிடுவான்.
