யோசியா ராஜாவின் நாட்களிலே கர்த்தர் என்னை நோக்கி: சீர்கெட்ட இஸ்ரவேல் என்பவள் செய்ததைக் கண்டாயா? அவள் உயரமான சகல மலையின்மேலும், பச்சையான சகல மரத்தின்கீழும் போய், அங்கே வேசித்தனம் பண்ணினாள்.

யோசியா அரசன் யூதா நாட்டை ஆண்டுக்கொண்டிருந்த காலத்தில், கர்த்தர் என்னோடு பேசினார். அவர், “எரேமியா, இஸ்ரவேல் செய்த தீமைகளை நீ பார்த்தாய். எவ்வாறு அவள் எனக்கு விசுவாசமில்லாமல் நடந்துகொண்டாள், என்பதை நீ அறிவாய். ஒவ்வொரு மலை உச்சியின் மேலும் பச்சை மரங்களின் கீழும், விக்கிரகங்களோடும், சோரம் போய் அவள் பாவம் செய்தாள்.
