அந்தணமே சவுல் நெடிதாங்கிடையாய்த் தரையிலே விழுந்து, சாமுவேலின் வார்த்தைகளினாலே மிகவும் பயப்பட்டான்; அவன் இராப்பகல் முழுதும் ஒன்றும் சாப்பிடாதிருந்தபடியினால், அவன் பலவீனமாயிருந்தான்.
