போவாஸ் ரூத்தை விவாகம் பண்ணினான்; அவள் அவனுக்கு மனைவியானாள்; அவன் அவளிடத்தில் பிரவேசித்தபோது, அவள் கர்ப்பந்தரித்து, ஒரு ஆண்பிள்ளையைப் பெறக் கர்த்தர் அநுக்கிரகம்பண்ணினார்.
