நம்மையும் நம்முடைய பிதாக்களையும் அடிமைத்தன வீடாகிய எகிப்து தேசத்திலிருந்து புறப்படப்பண்ணி, நம்முடைய கண்களுக்கு முன்பாகப் பெரிய அடையாளங்களைச் செய்து, நாம் நடந்த எல்லா வழியிலும், நாம் கடந்து வந்த எல்லா ஜனங்களுக்குள்ளும் நம்மைக் காப்பாற்றினவர் நம்முடைய தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர்தாமே.

தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் தான் எகிப்திலிருந்து வெளியேற்றி நம் ஜனங்களை அழைத்து வந்தார் என்பதை நாங்கள் அறிவோம். நாங்கள் அத்தேசத்தில் அடிமைகளாக இருந்தோம். ஆனால் அங்கு பெரிய காரியங்களை கர்த்தர் எங்களுக்காகச் செய்தார். அவர் எங்களை அத்தேசத்திலிருந்து அழைத்து வந்து, பிற தேசங்கள் வழியாக நாங்கள் பிரயாணம் செய்யும்போது எங்களைப் பாதுகாத்து வந்தார்.
