தேசமெங்கும் பஞ்சம் உண்டானபடியால், யோசேப்பு களஞ்சியங்களையெல்லாம் திறந்து, எகிப்தியருக்கு விற்றான்; பஞ்சம் எகிப்து தேசத்தில் வரவரக் கொடிதாயிற்று.
