யோசியாவின் குமாரனாகிய எலியாக்கீமை அவன் தகப்பனாகிய யோசியாவின் ஸ்தானத்தில் ராஜாவாக வைத்து, அவன் பேரை யோயாக்கீம் என்று மாற்றி, யோவாகாசைக் கொண்டுபோய் விட்டான்; இவன் எகிப்திலே போய் அங்கே மரணமடைந்தான்.
